RE: Case *** *** ***
We would love to resolve the case with *** ***We received a personal letter from Mrs*** stating her
problem with the loose stairs; and a problem with an umbrella stand that did not hold the umbrella squarely in the stand
We tried to resolve this issue on August 23rd when we sent an employee out there to fix the loose steps and the umbrella standThis was before we received the letter Mrs *** wrote to us dated August 30, 2016, but right after she stopped in to see us at our office
After receiving this letter from the Revdex.com, *** *** our estimator, put in a call to Mrs *** We are waiting for a call back to see how she wants to proceed
As we said earlier, we are happy to help Mrs*** out; we have been out there once already, we can go again when she would like us to
We have always honored our warranties, sometimes beyond the scope of the contractIf Mrs *** wants it done in the Spring/Summer season, we will be out there fixing her stairs whenever she wantsPlease realize though, that June is an extremely busy time of the year for landscapers
Thank you,

First we need to clarify that our contract was with the builder Ralston & Sons Construction. They hired us to do the work at the [redacted] residence. The contract was signed by the [redacted]’s when the construction company bowed out of the...

picture.
We were told where the pool was going to be placed and did not sod that area in the fall of 2014. Come Spring of 2015 the owners decided to move the location of the pool. They requested that we relocate the irrigation lines to accommodate the new pool location. We instructed the owners to have the pool installed the new location and we would charge them accordingly for irrigation repair after the pool was installed in the new location. There were irrigation repairs they requested after their new fence was installed, which damaged two to three sprinkler heads. We did the irrigation repairs because of the pool install and fence installation and client has refused to pay for these repairs.
As we said before the contract was with the builder and the owner agreed to the terms, materials and plans. We have a signed contract. There were some plants that had died and we replaced as per our contract, we finished the sod in the spring; it was not finished in the fall due to a concrete walkway not being installed per city ordinance, and we have not been paid for the sod either.
As Mrs. [redacted] states, she has spoken to Gail in the office and Gail has done her best to get all of the issues answered, which we have done to the best of our abilities. As for speaking to [redacted]; it is very hard to tie him down and when he comes in the office, it is usually to finish a contract or check his email.
As far as we are concerned, the sprinkler system was properly done, we did all repairs for the damage caused by the pool and fence and all we want is to receive payment for our services. We cannot promise a call from the owner, as he is a very busy man.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/07/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept their response. The contract was always between my husband and I with the company. The builder has nothing to do with the actual contract. I met with Dave from the beginning. Also, every employee we talked with at the comapny including Dominic and Gail stated that Dave is a liar and gives customers high expectations and does not deliver quality services. They stated they have many complaints about Dave that they always have to fix. They stated Dave tells people what he can deliver for them, but never follows through and they have many complaints about Dave's customer service. We are not refusing to pay for services. I want to make that clear. We have never refused to pay for any service with any company. We do not have a negative reputation as does this company. They have received $13,136.00 from us to date. The amount that is left is approximately $700 for the irrigation repairs. We would have gladly paid if they didn't ruin our front yard in the process of fixing the irrigation with their machine. We have ruts in the front yard and all we want is to have the land smoothed out the way it was for safety purposes. Also, Dominic said they would relocate the sprinkler drain so it was not in the walkway leading to our front door and that was not done also. They promise to fix things and do not follow through on their committments. The sod in question by the concrete walkway was part of the contract and was not an extra fee. This is a false statement on the company's part. In addition, if the owner is too busy to talk to unsatisified customers, then he is in the wrong business. This is a customer service business and customers are treated poorly by this company. The last statement about the owner being too busy is a total reflection on how the entire business is run.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2015/08/05) */
T&J states that our contract was with the buyer, but we were given the lead for the job by the construction company, therefore they were not involved with the contract. If we implied anything else we apologize for the error.
If we address some of the remarks or complaints the customer has made about our company and employees, we could be here for a while. T&I is a professional company who would not talk about one of their employees to a customer, the remarks about our employee and our company were uncalled for, we are here to address landscaping issues.
Upon further investigation, we found we were paid for the sod. We apologize for that statement also. We are not sure if the customer called about the ruts in her lawn, the last letter was the first we heard of it.
We are a professional company and the boss is not always around. The last time he was involved with a customer, it took up all of his time and he needs to be handling a lot of paperwork and other things related to owning a business. We have managers and customer service representatives who are more than capable to deal with any of our customer's needs. We would like to resolve these issues with this customer. We can have a crew go out and fix the ruts and move the downspouts and the crooked sprinkler head, (these do move around) while being supervised by a manager. In return, we would expect all negative remarks and posts about the company to be removed from our Facebook page and anywhere else they may be posted.
