STAY FAR AWAY! Builders and home owners, if you hire Don N. of Door Crafters, this is a friendly warning that you will be promised doors at a much cheaper price that will look amazing. Let me tell you that you will in the end, have a NIGHTMARE. Not just any NIGHTMARE but one that when you tell anyone else about it, their jaw will drop nightmare. He was hired through our builder and we have been in our home for 6 months and we still do not have functioning doors. Today, he sent his guys here to spray the doors in the trailer outside (saying he was again repairing them... the glass has been replaced 7 times) and left with them. When I called to ask where our doors as the trailer wasn't here either... he text and said, "call the builder". He and the builder were disputing over funds and he was holding our doors hostage. We had the police here and filed a police report. Attached is a picture of what was left and we have 2 small children. Now it's on to court.

Door was installed but handle on inside need to be replaced. Also, the windows on the door do not appear to be frosted but rather that a film was used and now it appears to be peeling.

I contracted with Don Ng of Doors Crafter in 2016 to supply interior doors and 2 custom entrance doors for new residential construction. The custom entrance doors were delivered with a finish that would never harden. I've had to contract with another company to sand down those doors and re-finish. That amount was deducted from the final balance due Doors Crafter.
We've now just noticed the interior doors are all "bleeding" through the finish coat of paint due to the fact Doors Crafter didn't use the proper primer. All the interior doors have had to be re-sanded, primed with the proper product and re-painted. This now results in an additional cost of $3,000.00. My attorney has contacted Doors Crafter in an attempt to remedy this situation without filing suit, however Doors Crafter has ignored the correspondence.
It's also come to my attention that Doors Crafter used 2 different types of glass in the entrance doors, some of the glass has been sand blasted while others are acid etched.
Don Ng rarely will answer his phone or respond to texts or emails. The service Doors Crafter has supplied is abysmal at best. Dealing with this company has been extremely disappointing and would warn other consumers to steer clear.

Refund Per comments above, my attorney offered to accept $2,000.00 vs. the $3,000.00 total cost to avoid litigation. I can forward my attorneys correspondence to your investigators. I would accept $2,000.00 for restitution.
