Dear [redacted]:On February 8, 2012, one of our sales representive met with [redacted] at his home at [redacted], [redacted], Pa, [redacted]. They originally had double doors but they decided they wanted a single door and two side lights. When it came to...

picking out paint colors, we offered 2 shades of brown. The color [redacted] choose was Twisted Branch, its not the sales person responsibility to color coordinate. What ever color the customer chooses thats what color the doors gets painted. We don't want the Customer Calling up after the installation and saying the sales person picked out the color and we don't like it. That is why we want the customer to pick out the color. After the installation Doors Unlimited covered the exterior frames in brown aluminum. The brown coil we purchase from our distributor only comes in one color brown. It just so happened that both browns did not match. There is nothing stated on the order that the capping was to match the entry doors...color brown. In the complaint letter, they complained about dents and scratches. There were no scratches and dents on the doors at the time of completion. When the installation was complete [redacted] signed a completion certificate, stating he was satisfied with the doors and installation. Doors Unlimited is not responsible for scratches and dents after the installation. The daughter called and complained that the color of the doors was not Twisted Branch brown. The installation manager ([redacted]) called many times and could not connect with the daughter to set up an appointment to meet with the [redacted]. [redacted] actually stopped by one Saturday to check the colors (no one was home). The color of the doors were Twisted Branch. This was several months later from the original phone call. We heard nothing from the [redacted] for about a year then the daughter called again (2013), [redacted] finally met with the [redacted] at their home. He showed them the color chart to see if the Twisted Branch was wrong and it was an exact match to the doors. [redacted] told them there was nothing Doors Unlimited could

Review: when the front door was installed the frame and the door color were not the same, they left the interior trim wood with no stain or color, the door shortly there after became consumed by dents and scratches as well as the outside perimiter frame is dented due to their sloppiness and bad install, we called them numerous times to come match the colors as well as repair or replace the door, they didn't respond for months, when they finally came they said there was nothing that they were required to do and we were stuck with what we had.Desired Settlement: I simply want the asthetics coloring to match the door to be replaced or painted to conceal the damages and to correct the dented framing.
