I received this complaint a few day ago, The customer came in ask for pricing of tires there was no quote given to the customerI told the customer the price of what I get the tire and they would be a little more once I receive themThe customer told me to order the tires which I did
The mount and balance tires at my shop is $dollars it has always been $I haven't changed the pricingI don't know were the customer got $dollars from cause I didn't tell him thatThis could of all been avoided if he just of let me make a full quote for himThen any question he had before the job was done I would of been more than happy to explainBut the customer just came in and told me to order itThen about a week later calls about the billWhich I explained over the phone but he wasn't listeningThe tire fee is throwing the old tire away for him cause it cost money to disposal tiresIF he didn't want to pay the $dollar fee for tire disposal he could of took the old tire backThe 40 bucks is what business mark up on tires due to we get tires at cost which I tell every customer. The wheels were balanced correctly and you cant stack clip on weightsIf the customer was a technician like he said he was the he should know how a garage works and wouldn't be filing a complaint right now. Next time I recommend to the customer to get a printable quote before he just tells a someone to do the workCause my quotes are spot on
