I am rejecting this response because: I have never received a call from them or any form of communicationThey did obtain my make, model and license plate number of my carAnd they should go back and review the footage because the guy I was with went back and took a photo of my license plate numberI have no received any refund in any formThe sign was behind a garbage can in a different business's lotI would never have thought to look over in that areaMaybe put it next to the sign with the instructions on how to payWhich that sign was located in the back of the parking lot

Hello, I believe Mr*** is confused about the payments he made. The $application fee is non-refundable. The second application fee that he paid after he moved in was to add his girlfriend, who was living in the apartment with him at the time, to the current lease.
The property does not charge a pet deposit, but it does charge a pet fee, which is notated on the front page of the lease (attached). I have also attached Mr***'s move-out charge break down and also a copy of the refund check that was deposited on November 16, Thank you, Emily ***Area ManagerDoran CompaniesEmily.***@dorancompanies.com###-###-####

Doran Companies disputes the facts presented by Ms*** as follows: The pre-pay parking lot that is the subject of this matter was clearly marked with signage that reads, in summary, "If you leave the parking lot without first having paid the parking charge, your vehicle will be
towed. You must remain with your vehicle until you receive an e-mailed receipt confirmation of your payment." Doran does not have security footage of Ms*** returning to her vehicle to obtain the license plate information. The towing company does not remove a vehicle from the lot until after they are contacted by a representative of the lot and are requested to remove an offending vehicle, which is not done until after it is confirmed through the parking website that payment was not made. If Ms*** would like additional information regarding the exact circumstances of this towing, we request that she provide us with the make, model and license plate number of her vehicle so we can do additional research. After Ms*** first initially contacted Doran's office with her complaint, arrangements were made by which Ms*** received a refund of one-half of the towing fee that she had been charged by the tow company

I have never received a call from them or any form of communication. They did obtain my make, model and license plate number of my car. And they should go back and review the footage because the guy I was with went back and took a photo of my license plate number. I have no received any refund in any form. The sign was behind a garbage can in a different business's lot. I would never have thought to look over in that area. Maybe put it next to the sign with the instructions on how to pay. Which that sign was located in the back of the parking lot.

Unfortunately, you chose not to resolve the issue last time as you are avoiding it now. You people are thiefs and you are stealing money you should not be allowed to get away with it. I just hope through you negligence others that read these complaints there will be more stay clear or Doran Companies. I'm sure your superior will love the way you treat others also. I just want the $365 you stole from me which I have proof in [redacted] email. Talk to you soon!

Hello, Ms. [redacted] is the girlfriend of another former resident, [redacted] who file a complaint with the Revdex.com complaint ID #[redacted].  Mr. [redacted] had Ms. [redacted] living in the apartment for longer than the 14 days allowed in his lease, thus requiring Ms. [redacted] to submit an...

application and be added to the lease.  The fact that the couple decided to transfer to a different unit does not change the situation.  The $300 pet fee in question was paid at move-in for the first apartment by Mr. [redacted] and addressed in complaint #[redacted].  There are no monies due to Ms. [redacted] or Mr. [redacted]. I have attached a copy of the application form that Ms.[redacted] completed, acknowledging that she was completing an application for residence and that the fees were required to be paid.  I've also attached a copy of her ledger showing the $65 application fee but no other fee charged or paid by Ms. [redacted].  I also have attached a copy of the move-out statement showing no other payments made for the new apartment.   Thank you,  Emily [redacted]Doran CompaniesArea Manager###-###-####

Hello, The pet fee covers the additional cleaning and carpet cleaning required for apartments with pets in them, so regardless of the length of lease the pet fee is the same. Per the lease agreement, the front page indicated that the pet fee is a one-time fee, and does not indicate that it would be pro-rated if the resident moved out prior to the lease ending.  The application fee in question was paid to run the background check for Mr. [redacted]'s girlfriend, [redacted].  On the application that Ms. [redacted] signed, it clearly states that the application fee is non-refundable.Thank you and please contact me it there are any further questions.  Emily [redacted]Area ManagerDoran CompaniesEmily.[redacted]@dorancompanies.com
