The majority of the staff appear to be volunteers, without any training or knowledge of community programs, including job opportunities. They bring you into a room, tell you to look the information up online, without providing any details or assistance. Very frustrating, and a waste of time. An incompetent social worker referred me to them.

For a Nonprofit Christian organization Dorcas Ministries in Cary NC paid Staff is incredibly rude. the organization has false claims on helping people in Financial crises, they request unnecessary documents and refuse to give copies of authorization release forms and the application. The organization do not keep your documentation safe and can not explain why they need to keep you information or how long they will be keep this personal sensitive information. I have found the Staff to be liars all in the name of GOD. Executive Director and Outreach manager is dishonest and incredible rude. Also,the Case Manager is incredible incompetent. The Dorcas Ministries is dishonest with the services they claim to provide; I have seen needy families turned away. The organization collects large donations from local churches and Business but do not assist all families in crisis,they pick and choose who they want to help. The website has false and misleading information and they claim to have their application online but one cannot be found. Public beware please be carful to whom you Allow to copy your personal information because it may be used inappropriately or the company may use your information fraudulently.Desired SettlementStop misleading the public ,change their false claims on the website, help more deserving families in crises, and use the donations for attended purposes.
