Dorel Juvenile Group Reviews (%countItem)

The customer service supervisor for maxi cosi car seat agreed that the instructions for a child seat did not say to not remove the buckles for cleaning. However I did as they were covered in vomit to clean. I stated that it never said not to remove them and again she agreed. However they are easily removed they cannot be reinstalled. I asked for a replacement seat as they informed me mine is now defective. They would not assist and now I need to buy a new seat for my 11 month old. The service was not friendly and seemed very devious the way she said it was not covered bc it doesn’t show instructions on how to do it.

Please see attached in response to the complaint.

Company states that the car seats are safe. The car seats do not stay anchored down in my 2018 Silverado. I have contacted the company asking to be reimbursed for my purchase of two car seats for my 11 month old and my 2 year old. They are refusing to give me back anything and will not even give an option as to what they will do besides asking for more information.

Safety 1st Car Seats Dispute Resolution

*** Product Specialist reviewed our records upon receipt of this notification.

Our records indicate on 02/22/2019 that we received an email from Ms. dated 02/20/2019 stating the seats would not stay installed securely in her truck. We emailed Ms. on 02/22/2019 at 3:31pm asking for information about how the seats were being used, and the complete model information from both seats. We also asked if she had the receipt available.

On 03/06/2019 Ms. contacted us by telephone at 10:18am stating that she had not received a response regarding the previous inquiry regarding her car seats. We advised Ms. that we had replied to her email on 02/22/2019 and we resend the email. Ms. confirmed that she had located the email and advised that she would reply to the email.

We received an email on 03/06/2019 at 10:20am stating that she knows how to properly install a car seat. Ms. also stated that she was using the latch anchors to install the seat in her 2018 Chevy Silverado. Ms. then advised that if her money was not reimbursed she would contact The Revdex.com.

On 03/06/2019 we received the notification stating that Ms. had made a complaint with The Revdex.com.

*** Product Technician contacted Ms. by telephone on 03/11/2019 at 1:35pm and followed up with an email at 1:37pm. We made additional attempts by telephone on 03/12/019 and 03/13/2019 leaving a voicemail each time.

Once we have the model information from both seats so that we know which particular models of car seats we are working with, along with the receipts to show the purchase price we will be happy to work out a resolution for our consumer.

I have attached a copy of our service request record for your review, along with the emails that were sent.

Thank you,

I bought the mighty fit 65 carseat, this carseat however is very unsafe for a rear facing. the carseat lays down when you are driving. The five point harness will not go tight enough for my 18 pound baby. I decided to call them and see if I can just get a refund as it is unsafe. I started having problems with the first person I talked to. he told me "Put a pool noodle under the carseat it self to help it from not falling over." this however does not come with the carseat so it is not crash tested. So the guy transferred me to carseat tech. I was on hold for over 20 mins and then they picked up the phone and hung up on me. I decided to call back and they transferred the call again to a carseat tech, and they hung up on me again. I called back and asked to talk to a supervisor. the supervisor called back and decided they would trade my carseat in. I told her I will not use another cosco brand carseat again. she said okay. she sent me an email and attached had three carseats. Two which were cosco carseat and one safety first. I decided to read the reviews online about the carseats and the two cosco carseats had the reviews that were the same as the mighty fit 65. the other one is to big for my little car. I emailed this all back to her and she told me she would respond to me as soon as I emailed her and now 18 hours back and two emails to her later and phone calls to the company and im not hearing anything back.

We were given a BRAND NEW in the original sealed box Quinny Buzz stroller as a baby shower gift in May. Our baby girl arrived in late June and on the 4th of July we decided to put together and use the stroller for a family event. First the set didn't seem to stay in the frame and then the frame locke somehow and WILL NOT go down. I have tried everything from pushing it to youtube videos, nothing works. My husband has tried also. We had a friend come over who has the same stroller and she said she could not get it down either! We live on the 3rd floor and have no place to store this stroller since we cannot put it down. It was a gift from my relatives back in NY and I'm unsure as to what to do. I called your customer service and first the woman INSISTED it was a used stroller, it is BRAND new and then told me she could not help me without the receipt, but it was a shower gift! I am apalled at the service and what if we put our newborn daughter in this stroller and the seat popped out? What is she was injured? What kind of products are you selling?! Please PLEASE help!

The response is attached to the original complaint, which is attached here.

We purchased a Cosco Funsport Play Yard for our infant son, and the product smelled horribly of chemicals. The smell seemed to get worse over time and did not seem safe for an infant. The few times our son slept in it, he smelled strongly of chemicals the next day. We stopped using it and contacted the company. The company told us that since we threw out the Play Yard, that they would not be able to offer us a replacement. We are not the only ones who have had this problem, as a quick Google search shows multiple results with people who have had the same issue with this product.

Please see attached response to the complaint.

Purchased the tak-along mobile and the product is poorly manufactured as the grip is weak and the item fell on our baby.
