Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/29) */
There is an appointment set for July 1, 2015, with the Quaker Rep and our installer to resolve any issues to the customers satisfactionWindows are not defective, nor is the installationWe have had some waiting time for customer to supply
interior wood and for customer to make decisions on replacing grids in windowsI have personally responded everytime I have been contacted by the ***'ssigned *** ***
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Dorglass coincidentally responded only after this complaint was filed with the Revdex.com on 6/There is an appointment set for July 1, with the Quaker rep and yet another installer from Dorglass companyI would like to point out that we must take ANOTHER day off of work for this appointmentNow to address the "waiting time" you refer to in your response: the very first day *** was at our home to install the windows we called you *** to inform you that of the windows had incorrect grids in themYou told us to "live with it" for a few weeks to see if we could get used to itYou were the one that ordered the incorrect grids in the first place, and I'm sure you didn't want to spend the money to order new onesAs for the "waiting time for customer to supply interior wood" that you refer to in your response, there was no delay, we simply asked the installer *** to start working in the front of the house instead of the rear of the house while we finished replacing the wood window sillsThis did not cause ANY delayI find it interesting that your response implys that we, the customer, caused these delaysThat is simply NOT trueIn my initial complaint to the Revdex.com I didn't even mention that you ordered incorrect grids to begin with, thanks for pointing out yet another thing that was wrong with this projectIn response to your statement, "windows are not defective, nor is the installation", then why is there water leaking into my house? and why do several of my windows not open/close correctly? and why has the Quaker rep had to order parts on brand new windows? and why have several of your installers already been to our house to adjust them and told us there is nothing more they can do? I can provide you with the photo and video proof we have of the water and visible damage if necessary, I don't know the extent of the water damage behind and inside the wall yetWe will need to hire a professional to assess for that damageAs for your response that you have personally responded everytime you have been contacted, well we simply know that is not trueYou said yourself the other day on the phone with my husband *** that you can't imagine why you "never received" any of his communicationsYour response to our complaint with the Revdex.com did not address ANY of the issues that we have had with Dorglass or this project, and instead only attempted to place blame on us the homeownersVERY poor
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 16, 2015/07/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Dorglass was at our home again on 7/1/and repaired windows, windows they initially claimed there was nothing wrong with (see Harveys initial reply)On 7/18/we again had water running into our home (see attached video proof, I also have photos and many more videos if needed)The window that was leaking was one of the that the company repaired on the previous visit weeks priorWe immediately sent an email to Dorglass and heard back from Harvey later in the weekDorglass would like to come to our home yet again to repair the problem and do a "water test" on all the windowsWhy wasn't this water test done a year ago when we had initial water problems? We are having some difficulty scheduling this as we are all out of vacation days from workWe used an entire years worth of vacation on this window project, a project that we were initially told by Harvey would take days to completeInstead we have burned up more than weeks of vacation time, this has been a great financial burden to usI am terribly disappointed with this entire project and would like to hire a different company to fix and/or replace these horrible windows
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2015/08/03) */
