I ordered a trunk Sept I returned it within days using their RMA process I show the return was received but as of today Dec 16, it is still "processing" and I haven't received a credit for my return I've called every number I can find and emailed numerous amounts of time Even called different times of day To date I've never received a return correspondence I have never been so disgusted with the customer service of a company MsL.- you should read these comments as there seems to be a significant trend I strongly discourage anyone from future purchases from this company

I ordered a comforter set and an extra duvet cover from dormsmart.com for my elderly motherWhile she is not their target customer, we looked at several places that sell twin xl comforters and she found one there that she liked best
According to dormsmart, the comforter we ordered should have taken 1-days to be prepared for shipment and 2-days to be shippedTwo weeks after the order was placed and my credit card had been charged, their website still indicated that my order was being processed and that neither of the two items I had ordered (which we organized into two shipments by dormsmart) had been shipped
I contacted them by phone at the number indicate on the websiteThey do not answer this phone number, but there is an answering system that asks customers to leave a message, the order number, and contact information so that they can return the callI naively believed that this system was intended to spare me the annoyance of having to wait on hold, but after I had not received the return call in hours, I called backI tried calling at different times of the day to see if that made a difference, but I never got throughEach time I called, I left all of the information they requested, referred to my earlier calls, and asked them to call me to get answers about why my order had not shipped
After three calls/messages that were not returned, I discovered that dormsmart has an online messaging systemWhen you are logged on to their website, you can see information about your order and leave messages with questions about the orderI left two messages on this systemThe first asked for information about the orderFinally, after the order had been shipped, I left a message asking for an explanation and an apology for the delayThey never responded to either message
My order was in some kind of limbo, and it appears that it was only shipped after I began pressuring them to respond to me and take actionTheir was no attempt on their part to expedite the shippingThe last of the two items finally arrived three weeks after they charged my credit card, and their has been no explanation or apology or even contact from dormsmart about this unacceptable delay--a delay that contradicts their stated shipment times
My complaint here is really about their lack of customer serviceI understand that delays happen and that there are all kinds of factors that can cause themBut to ignore repeated customer requests for information and explanations is just rude and unprofessional
Other customers should be aware that dormsmart.com has poor customer serviceI would not recommend doing business with this company

I ordered a trunk from this business online, who promptly billed my credit card and sent me a message that my order would be shipped soon After weeks of hearing nothing, my wife and I both repeatedly called and left online messages, trying to determine our order status as we had been charged We were finally contacted and told they didn't know what happened or why our order was not shipped sooner
Once we received the trunk, we realized it was the incorrect size (our fault) as it was way too big for our year old son to take to camp We tried to go through the online process to return the trunk -- they state they have a day risk free return policy -- but continue to be told via an online message that our return period has expireddays after receiving and after their email said it shipped!!!!!!! We have again repeatedly left voice mails and online messages that have been ignored We are still well within our day return window but the company will not allow us to return the product and will not respond to any of our requests to discuss with them
Absolutely DO NOT use the business or any of its subs (The Trunk Store) for any purchases They are terrible
