left our business.On 8/22/2016, [redacted] returned and wanted to move forward with the sale of his vehicle to our business. I was absent from the building at the time, leaving the store without a buyer/Sales Manager. When I returned to the store, I inspected the vehicle and discovered additional damage that may have not been there on the previous appraisal. I then contacted the customer and let him know that the dollar amount proposed to him on 8/19/2016 may change due to there being additional repairs that would need to be done to the vehicle. At this point, I offered a lower amount for his vehicle stating that the damage would be expensive to repair. The customer stated he was going to come in to the store to speak to me in person about his concerns, however, he did not arrive before the closing of the store.On 8/23/2016, after discussions with Dorschel’s Director of Variable Sales, I contacted the customer and informed him that we would honor the original $32,866 as an act of good faith and to ensure that he and his family members would continue to work with us in the future. That morning, the customer arrived to pick up his check. I apologized to the customer for the trouble. The check in the amount of $32,866 was cashed on 8/23/2016.After receiving this Revdex.com notification on 8/26/2016, I contacted the customer. I apologized to him again for the poor interaction and asked if he was satisfied.
