Dotauthority is missing the point of why a complaint was filed with the Revdex.com.  I did not file a complaint in June when the transaction happened.  I accepted that dotauthority was not refunding me.  It's when I received an email giving me 24 hours to respond to a "renewing the UCR registration fee" when I was told in June 2016 that I would be taken off the automatic renewal.  I have an email to prove this was said in June.  The complaint is dotauthority did not follow through on their word.  Had I not contacted them "within 24 hours" to tell them not to renew - based on their professional behavior up to this point, I'm sure they would have gone ahead and charged it. I am not attempting to bully dotauthority.  As the Revdex.com will read comments by both of us, it's clear that dotauthority is name calling, evidenced by their most recent response of "this particular customer was simply MENTALLY incapable of concluding what any other reasonable person would conclude".  Furthermore, indicating "we are in business to serve thousands of satisfied clients, not take advantage of the MENTALLY HANDICAPPED".I indicated in my Revdex.com complaint that my desired resolution was "modification of an advertised claim".  I did not re-ask for a refund which I was already denied.  The Revdex.com asked for information about the amount spent for the purchase.  I see that a refund of $107 was processed today.  I will contact my credit card company and reject the refund.  I do not want anything to do with dotauthority and their unprofessional name calling of myself as mentally handicapped and mentally incapable.  Consumers will see dotauthoritys response and draw their own conclusion about dotauthority.

TERRIBLE COMPANY, THEY LOVE AN EXCUSE, LIE OVER THE PHONE, BAD BUSINESS, DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN NEVER

Review: I called this business on the phone to ask about getting my US DOT # for my business,( I got there phone # from a friend of the family) I spoke with a rep named [redacted] on 5/**/2014 about getting my dot # and ucr registration. she told me it would cost $300.00 for the dot # and $187.00 for the ucr registration, I then asked if there was any other service where I could get this done or do it on line myself because it sounded very expensive and she told me that the pricing would be the same no matter where I got it done and said she could do it for me right then and there and have my information (dot #s and ucr registration) within 15 minutes. so beleiving that that was gonna be the cost that the state charged for this stuff I went ahead and used there services.

The only thing that came within 15 minutes was a bill for $487.00 to be billed to my debit/credit card. I had to call her back and get her to send my #s.

the following day I learned that I was over charged and that I should contact the state of michigan about it. (I thought that [redacted] worked for the state of michigan) so I did get hold of state of michigan public service commision dept. of licensing and public affairs. and the lady I spoke with said that I was taken advantage of, it should have costed me $76.00 for the UCR and the DOT #s are free. So I called [redacted] back and she said I would have to email the billing complaints dept. and then they would respond and then get back to me in person, I have sent several emails trying to get refunded at least some of the money back but was told that I accepted all the terms/agreements that were explained on there website ([redacted]) which is a lie because I only knew and talked to this business over the phone, and was told that the charges were the same for the #s and registration anywhere I went. I feel that they mislead me into believing that I was gonna have to pay the same amount no matter where I went or who I talked to. And I can not get anyone to call me back or get [redacted] to put me thru to a manager or billing department. she told me that they would contact me by phone after they received my email complaint about the billing and reviewed it.Desired Settlement: I would like to get back a portion of my money that I paid this company. I was informed by the state that it should of only cost $76.00 and I was charged $487.00, I would be happy to be refunded $300.00 back which would still give them $111.00 profit after paying the $76.00 for the UCR.

Review: I was asked by MRSH Transport, LLC owner to update the bi-annual 150-C report on the Federal Motor Carrier website on 8/**/2015. I found the PDF 150-C form on the FMCSA website that I could print and email or I could agree to pay $25 for "automated online assistant" which by my own interpretation would be completed and filed electronically. Since the company's authority had been revoked due to the 150-C form not being filed timely and the company was non-operational I agreed to pay the fee to expedite the filing process to be reinstated faster.

The site offered MRSH Transport's previously filed 150-C Bi-Annual form from two years for review and I was instructed to make any necessary changes to the company's information. When that was finished I was asked for the company's credit card information for the $25 non-refundable, no-cancellation fee so that the "automated online assistant" could process the form. At no time was I given the option to view the finished product before the fee was processed so when I discovered the product that I had just authorized the $25 dollar fee and agreed to the NO-REFUND, NO-CANCELLATION policy was BLANK I was EXTREMELY UPSET!!! I thought there was a mistake because why would FMCSA offer an automated version of the 150-C form that would come out blank and that I would still have to complete and submit manually when I had the option to print and complete the PDF version on their website for free?

I immediately called the owner of MRSH Transport and told him to request a refund when he called to follow up on the reinstatement because there was a problem with their automated system and it gave us a blank form. It wasn't until he called back and told me that the FMCSA Rep had no idea what he was even talking because they didn't offer any service like that that I looked at the receipt that had been emailed to me and discovered that I had been redirected to a 3rd party vendor (dotauthority.com) and been taken for $25.00 for services that were falsely represented under false pretenses. At no time was I ever made aware of or alerted to the fact that I was leaving FMCSA's website and about to enter another vendor's site.

I don't know how it is even possible that dotauthority.com can be allowed to conduct business this way in good conscience. I do not know if this is illegal, but I do know that it is unethical at best. I did contact their customers service department and requested a refund, which they immediately denied and reiterated their no-refund, no cancellation policy that I had agreed to. I then advised them that I would contact Revdex.com to report their seemingly fraudulent business practice (bait and switch) but did not get a reply.Desired Settlement: 1. I WANT MY REFUND!!! I also want them to be investigated for fraudulent misrepresentation of misrepresentation of their product as well as their questionable business practices by posing as part of an official website when offering their automated online assistant

2. Regulated and controlled online advertisement as there is no warning that you are leaving the official website and being redirected to their website where they offer a automated filing process that when you pay turns out to be a BLANK FORM that you have to submit and process manually after you have already paid for and agreed to their NO REFUND, NO CANCELLATION policy with no intent to deliver what you paid for.

Review: I hired DOTAUTHORITY.COM to file an application for a [redacted]# for Intrastate Motor Carrier Authority. I hired them because the red tape, extensive application and hard to decipher lingo was a bit intimidating for me to tackle on my own. They advertise on their site the following:

DOTAuthority.com is owned by a Transportation Practitioner admitted to practice before the [redacted]. He is also a former Motor Carrier Regulator, is authorized to appear and represent motor carriers before federal and state regulatory agencies in licensing, tariff and adjudicatory matters. He holds an MA Degree and specializes in Interstate Authority (ICC Authority) application filings for motor carriers and freight brokers, [redacted] Number registrations and various trucking permits. DOTAuthority.com also publishes household goods mover tariffs.

This would lead anyone to believe they are experienced in filing such applications both accurately and timely, simply this is not true. [redacted] filed my application with the wrong information, they input their OWN telephone number as my business contact number as well as adding drivers to my profile, I am the ONLY driver..as stated in my SIGNED application for [redacted] authority. I have not been able to be [redacted] verified with the shipping broker as they tried to verify my information and could not, because the information was inaccurate on my [redacted] profile. I am still not verified and currently loosing revenue daily because of this. I requested a refund, they denied the refund. This company is unscrupulous and there is a reason they are not Revdex.com accredited. SCAM SCAM SCAMDesired Settlement: I would like my money returned as they did not provide the service they touted they could.
