I see that some people have posted negative comments about Doteasy here and I thought I'd post my review to show many others the other side of thingsI have been with Doteasy since and I have not had any problems with their service or their billing - they do send renewal reminders way ahead of time to remind you that my service is due for a renewal and they clearly stated in the reminder that if I don't reply to the renewal reminder, the service will be renewed (to avoid disruption to my website) which I find is very fair - imagine if you had intended on keeping your website but find that it's gone one day because you missed a renewal reminderI have a feeling that those who have claimed to be falsely charge did not read the reminders carefully and/or have an old email address listed with DoteasyAs with all other companies and service providers, I think it's fair to say that it's my responsibility to make sure I get all correspondences and that I read all notices carefully

I have been with Doteasy for over a decade From hosting my own personal Home Page to running a full scale fundraiser and everything in-between The crew at Doteasy have been amazing to deal with Responsive, helpful, and courteous are just a few words that describe my interaction with their team But, the best part is the fact that I have never experienced any downtime or system related issues I highly recommend them!

My company has used Doteasy since 2006 as a recommendation from my last website designer. I'm with a new website designer and he made a different recommendation that offered more at a fraction of the price. I switched my services over a year ago, or so I thought, when recently a $322.00 charge was placed on my credit card...The company has since stated they would credit me back, but would charge $15.00 do do so and another $25.00 to unlock my domain, to allow for the transfer. Basically, they want to nickel and dime you so they can still make a profit, even after the relationship is terminated. Needless, to say if the new domain host company doesn't work out, I will not use this company ever again...sad in so many ways.

Doteasy used to be great but sometime in the past year or so they changed and started charging more for everything. When I went to renew my website I was charged $45 USD for 2 years with free hosting and the same day I paid they said hosting now costs $1.95 USD per month and the domain registration had dropped to $15 USD per year. They would not refund the difference in the registration or give me the hosting I paid for, they only offered credit on my account to use for other purchases. They tried to scare me into not transferring my domain by saying the registration may be lost. I have since canceled my hosting and have transferred my domain to another registrar.

I have been using doteasy service for a long time, their customer service is very helpful, I can get most of my help from their online chat, for more complicated problem, their support ticket is very responsive and helpful.

Horrible service. They charged my credit card for unauthorized and unwanted services. Every year when I renewed I clicked to not do auto renewal but every year they would show it as auto renew and attempt to run my credit card. Don't waste your money and frustration. Horrible company.

I have been with Doteasy for more than 6 years and I'm pretty happy with their services. I don't recall there was any major downtime for my website in the past 6 years. And if there were scheduled maintenance, they would have sent me an email to notify me.

I'm not a tech savvy and I built my website with WordPress. For those who have experience building WordPress website may know that the learning curve can be pretty steep if one has no coding experience at all. There was a time when one of my outdated plugins crashed my site and therefore my site could not load at all (which also disabled me to log into the dashboard). At that point, I had no clue what caused the downtime issue. So, I submitted a support ticket and the Doteasy support team not only identified which of my plugins causing the issue but also provided me with a detailed step-by-step solution about how to fix it within a few hours since they received my ticket.

Doteasy sends me renewal notice when it gets close to my renewal date. It gives me the option to either renew my service or change my hosting plan options (or even cancel my hosting plan). Everything is simple and transparent.

Overall, I think Doteasy offers great uptime, affordable hosting solutions, and great technical support! I would highly recommend its service to anyone!
