I had a pipe leak and some repairs from previous water damage and Francisco and the guys from HTX did a great job getting everything done quickly and it looks like nothing ever happenedThey also helped in getting a mold issue taken care ofI will definitely call them again when I need repairs!
We purchased and moved into our our story sqft ranch style house in January of 2016, which then flooded in April As a result, the house was gutted (4' of drywall removed down to the studs, kitchen cabinets and island removed, bathroom cabinets removed)Francisco *** was already working in our neighbors house as our house was going through flood remediated (ie gutted and treated for mold) He came over to introduce himself and we talked a bit as we stood over the kitchen cabinets that he had built after the flood I liked our kitchen cabinets, they were very well done Francisco gave us his card and I told him we'd consider him for the remodelWe talked to a couple other contractors, and the estimates were all comparable (within a few thousand dollars), however Francisco was much more personable and seemed more trustworthy than the others, plus we had a neighbor who had used him twice now and we were able to see his craftsmanship first hand with our old kitchen cabinets...that made the decision making process pretty easyHe estimated 2.5- months to complete the remodel Work started immediately, however it ebbed and flowed around other jobs his crew was working on There were also some delays with the insurance checks, however he managed to work around these delays without much problem He maintained excellent communication with me during the entire project: asking me about his ideas for improvement, making sure he wasn’t missing anything, keeping me on task for items that needed to be ordered (outside the scope of the estimate), and helping pick out the detail work when it was time We also had him do some additional chimney and masonry work completely outside the scope of the flood remodel, which he addressed in stride During the last couple weeks, it was important to him that he finish up on time, so brought in additional crews and worked extended hours to finish everything up He ended up finishing right on time (months, weeks)After all was said and done, he set up a surprise ribbon cutting, filled the house with balloons, and had a nice bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us in celebration My wife wasn’t monitoring the work like I was and she was blown away by the grand unveilingOverall the work was very complete, very little touch up work was required after the ribbon cutting, he finished that up in the next days) The kitchen was absolutely beautiful! We’ve received compliments from friends who have seen it (and I quote), “this looks like something out of a magazine,” and my personal favorite, “this is a kitchen I’d really like to drink wine in.”
Speaking to just about every aspect of the remodel, I couldn’t be happier with the work that Francisco did and we’ve already recommended him to several of our friend for remodeling work We have additional projects coming up for replacement windows and a garage renovation, Francisco will probably be the only guy I call
