The client contacted me on November 2nd, via my contact page from my website, doubledroptine.com and requested a semi-guided hunt for the first day of deer rifleI was offering a "30% off all deer hunts" promotion at the time.A semi-guided hunt is described on my website and marketing materials as $per day and includes GPS coordinates and maps to stand sites with recovery of harvestIn the first communication with the client, he asked if I would set up a treestand for him and I agreed at no additional cost. After talking with the client further and learning his GPS was not functioning, I offered to take him into the area and show it to him while I put up the treestand for himI offered that I would be able to do some deer drives for him since I did not yet have any other clients scheduled for the first day - additional service at no additional cost. After having a father/son client schedule a fully guided hunt for the first day of deer rifle, and request to go after specific bucks in another area, I contacted the client via email on November 15th, I asked him if he would be OK to hunt there aloneHe phoned me back and said it was fine, and I thanked him for allowing me to take the fully guided client (a disabled veteran), his year old son, my year old niece, and my year old son to another area to target a specific buck that only junior and disabled hunters could harvest, but would contact him around noon on the 28th and possibly be able to come push deer in his area that afternoon. On November 28th 2016, the first day of deer rifle, I received a text from him at 10:informing me that guys had come in and sat right in front of him and that he "said the hell with it." I responded at 10: with "wow!" at how rude the other hunters were and that I had interpreted his quote as meaning he had already quit huntingHe never asked for any advice for other optionsI had assumed he would have tried the other areas I had pointed out when I had walked him into the area and just hunt from the ground. After voicing his displeasure hours later via text, I offered to allow him to hunt the stand freely the rest of the season and I would come and push for himHe never respondedI am truly sorry he felt cheated out of $70, but he chose to purchase a semi-guided hunt, which I had modified services to fit his needs (no GPS) and had provided additional services for free(took him physically into area and put up a treestand for him), but expected fully guided service.Chris D***

He is down right lieing my wife was with me at the time of the conversation at his house. The documents that he has attached were not provided to me. However the the first morning that I hunted with him 5am I was told they were in the back seat of his vehicle good luck reading going down the road in the dark.  I never asked him to hang a stand heck I have a portable stand I would have take before I asked that which is a lot more comfortable. The night that me him and my wife discussed the hunt he told me that he would put up a stand. He also stated that he would be in there to push deer but  before the hunt he contacted me telling me that he booked other hunters that he needed to help n the morning.  No problem with me so after my hunt was ruined I texted him before I left the property which was between 830 am and 9am not my fault if he didn't have signal to receive the text till later.  I demand the money back for the one day or I will let everyone know of how I was lied to which my wife was there to witness
