Double Eagle Title Reviews (1)
Review: This company is a joke. We've recently sold our home and unfortunetly, this reckless title company was chosen by the buyer. We received the settlement documents yesterday in the mail and when I turned it over to open it, it wasn't even sealed. The only thing closing the manila folder was the metal clasp. Not even a lick. This document contained our SOCIAL SECURITY NUMEBRS, ADDRESS, and SIGNATURES. It also had the previous addresses of the buyers. IRRESPONSIBLE. People forget but where you lived in the past is sensitive information. Credit card companies DO call you and ask you questions about where you used to live as another step to confirm you are who you say you are. This company is neglectful and they obviously lack attention to detail. Their response to this issue are even funnier than the company itself. "My apologies...I am glad that everything made it safely and securely despite the oversight...best of luck..." WHAT A JOKE. This was from their SETTLEMENT ATTORNEY, [redacted]. If you ever have to work with this company, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING, RECKLESS, IRRESPONSIBLE company. You would think they would offer to pay for fraud alert with the credit bureaus. WRONG! Like many Americans, I go above and beyond to keep my information secure but these is might have ruined that for me. I only received the documents yesterday so who knows who got a hold of it. I mean, you think it'll never happen but look what happened to [redacted]. IT HAPPENS. The real question is, WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY GOING TO DO ABOUT IT. As of right now, they're not doing anything about it. SHAME. Their employees were obviously taught wrong. What a joke. I wish failure upon you, Double Eagle Title.Desired Settlement: PAY FOR OUR (SPOUSE AND MYSELF)CREDIT MONITORING and FRAUD ALERT FOR 3 CREDIT BUREAUS.
