With a standard Double K Contracting Home Purchase Contractthere is a section provided to put extra monies in as an “allowance.” Thismoney is worked into the total amount asked for by the lender ( [redacted] ) On July 9th (when the contract was signed) the procedure forthe pay out of the allowances was to be used to reimburse the home ownerdirectlyIn the procedure changed to have the money used for allowancesbe paid directly to the company providing the work not the home owner.The allowance is used from the overall loan once work hasbeen completed [redacted] provided a paid in full receipt but work is notcompletedIn fact we called the septic company (Montez Construction) and wewere told that she paid them roughly 6,and she was asking for a check for10,but sent us a paid in full receipt, months before anything herselfAlsowrote the check after she was told that Double K would not be able to pay herbut would need to pay the companies directly [redacted] wrote another check to Oncor for over 5,andDouble K wrote her a check directly to try and provide her assistantsTheallowance that was in the contract was only 3,Even though were told not toby the mortgage company As of today theseptic system is not installed nor the electric which Double K has already madean effort to help her with this process.As far as the actual attempts to contact Double K, she didnot contact the corporate office in San Antonio, which is listed on ourwebsiteThere was also no contact with the sales man, [redacted] for additionalclarification

We had double k build our home this past year They did a great job considering the style of home we wanted (Not many builders wanted to mess with a very modern home) there were a few thing here and there but nothing big All in all we are very satisfied and they are even building my cousins home down the road and it seems to be going well!

We are currently have a home built by Double K and they do half standard work and leave their trashWe have trash that has now began blowing all over our acres because their workers do not pick up and take their trash with themwhen the roofers were done they left all of their roofing shingle that they cut thrown all around the house and just left it there We have food wrappers water bottles and so many other things just thrown on the ground with no reguard to picking any of it upWe have called the contractor, foreman over the course of weeks now and no response and all of the trash is still here plus what's been added over the last weeks
