When Ms *** called wanting ADA seats reserved in the balcony of the theater, our receptionist tried to go above and beyond and asked our production manager if she could accommodate the request to help her Our production manager was going to try and figure something out for them but had
an unexpected stroke and was unable to handle these details The night of the show the head of security let Ms *** know there were no ADA seats in the balcony and the general admission balcony was at capacity There is no elevator to the balcony and seating ADA customers in the balcony is not safe if there should be an emergency so we have a section on the main floor for their use While most people in this section are in wheelchairs, the head of security offered to put chairs in that section for Ms *** and her party Ms*** refused those chairs and chose to sit in the bar area on the ground floor When Ms *** wrote claiming our head of security was not telling the truth about offering her seats in the ADA section on the main floor, I checked with him and he confirmed that he did in fact offer her seats Our head of security has received many compliments for his treatment of our disabled customers over the years and I have no reason to question his veracity I offered her tickets to a future show for her perceived inconvenience She and her party chose to watch the show in the downstairs bar when they could have watched the show on the main floor
