Double Tree Apts. c/o Case & Assocs./Admin.Assist.

After move out from apartment, new charges of 207.81 charged. I was never contacted by Dbl tree and I'm now in collections with no explanation.
On 22June2013, I did a final walk through with the office manager at double tree apts. She informed me that my final rent would be $255.00 to cover rent from July 1st to July 24. She claimed although I was on orders I had to pay the remainder of the 30 days. She further stated that 4 stove covers and a $50.00 non refundable portion from my $150.00 deposit would be deducted. the 4 covers came to $20.00 total. I left the country on 24June. I am now in Guam and found out they have referred me to collections for $207.81. I never received a message from them explaining nor warning me of the charges. Much less what the charges are for. The manager told me that I owed nothing else and we both signed the release form on the 22nd. The check for the amount of $255.00 was deposited by Double tree apartments and has cleared my account. Since I am out of the country, I do not have access to my copy of the documents to find out the name of the person, but they have the same copy. I owed no rent prior to June 30th because that rent had been paid on June 1st. Therefore, no possible charges exist to warrant a charge of 207.81.
