I will start with the time frame He came into the store five times over about three weeks looking at the gun When he finally decided, he bought the gun right off the shelf Special orders were never discussed A week and a half after the purchase of the gun, he calls me and tells me he doesn't want the gun and that he wants a full refund I told him that we do not do refunds on guns because all the paperwork had already been sent in to the ATF and who knows what he had done with the gun in the week and a half that he had had it He then informed me that he was a former Delavan, WI police officer and that he had talked to his friends at the police station and they had told him I was under surveillance for taking advantage of customers, which is not true I told him that I would talk to my partner and see if there was anything we could do to make him happy This was on aFriday We decided we would try to find the gun he wanted and see how much it would cost to make the switch I called him back the same day to tell him this The followingMondaymorning he calls me, demanding that we either give him his money back or the gun he wants now He informed me that he was going to come to Delavan and badmouth me and the store and get physical with me At this point, I was done I was trying to help him but then he threatened me So I told him there was nothing else I could do for him After I hung up with him, I called the Delavan police department and filed a complaint against him The officer I filed the complaint with was on the Delavan force for over years and he told me that he had never heard of this guy As for the other things, I did get him a glock case, and as for the box of ammo Yes I did forget about it at the beginning but once he mentioned it I was happy to accommodate him I gave the choice between home defense ammo, which comes per box at $or a box of target ammo with per box at $ He chose the home defense ammo And then he bought the other box He commented that I had sold him a used gun It cannot happen I have to report to the ATF where every gun comes from and where every gun goes They take this very seriously and I could go to jail for falsifying the paperwork I can prove that gun came from one of my gun suppliers So if I took back the gun he bought, even if he had never shot it, I could not sell it as new because it had been sold onceThere are other discrepancies in his story, too numerous to count If you would like me to answer any other questions, please contact me [redacted] Co-Owner Double Tap Firearms

came into the store five times over about three weeks looking at the gun.  When he finally decided, he bought the gun right off the shelf.  Special orders were never discussed.  A week and a half after the purchase of the gun, he calls me and tells me he doesn't want the gun and that he wants a full refund.  I told him that we do not do refunds on guns because all the paperwork had already been sent in to the ATF and who knows what he had done with the gun in the week and a half that he had had it.  He then informed me that he was a former Delavan, WI police officer and that he had talked to his friends at the police station and they had told him I was under surveillance for taking advantage of customers, which is not true.  I told him that I would talk to my partner and see if there was  anything we could do to make him happy.  This was on aFriday.  We decided we would try to find the gun he wanted and see how much it would cost to make the switch.  I called him back the same day to tell him this.  The followingMondaymorning he calls me, demanding that we either give him his money back or the gun he wants  now.  He informed me that he was going to come to Delavan and badmouth me and the store and get physical with me.  At this point, I was done.  I was trying to help him but then he threatened me.  So I told him there was nothing else I could do for him.  After I hung up with him, I called the Delavan police department and filed a complaint against him.  The officer I filed the complaint with was on the Delavan force for over 10 years and he told me that he had never heard of this guy.
As for the other things, I did get him a glock case, and as for the box of ammo Yes I did forget about it at the beginning but once he mentioned it I was happy to accommodate him.  I gave the choice between home defense ammo, which comes 20 per box at $31 or a box of target ammo with 50 per box at $25.  He chose the home defense ammo.  And then he bought the other box.
He commented that I had sold him a used gun.  It cannot happen.  I have to report to the ATF where every gun comes from and where every gun goes.  They take this very seriously and I could go to jail for falsifying the paperwork.  I can prove that gun came from one of my gun suppliers.  So if I took back the gun he bought, even if he had never shot it, I could not sell it as new because it had been sold once.
