Doubletree Hotel New Orleans

Review: After Searching & Searching For A Great Hotel To Stay At During My Visit To New Orleans, I Came Across The Double Tree By Hilton. This Was One Of The Worst Hotel Experience's I Have EVER Experienced. Checked In On Jan 15 Around 4ish. After Checking In And Getting To My Room, I Quickly Noticed That My Floor Throughout The Whole Room Was Completely Soaking Wet. Called Down Stairs To Request Another Room, They Were Able To Keep Me On The Same Floor, Had The Bellman Come Up To Drop Off The New Key, After Gathering All Of My Things, I Made My Way Down The Hall To Get Into My New Room. While Trying To Get Into My Room, My Key Wasn't Working. So, I Then Had To Carry All Of My Things Downstairs To Get Another Key. So, After Getting My Second Room Key To My New Room, I Got Settled In & Began To Unpack & Got Ready To Meet Up With My Friends & Family. When I Returned Back To My Room Later On That Late Evening / Early Morning. After Arriving Into My Room, I Noticed That It Was Extremely Hot In My Room. I Made A Phone Call The Next Morning For The Engineer To Come Into My Room To Fix My Air, While He Was Fixing My Air, He Did Acknowledge That It Was Extremely Hot In My Room. After He Fixed My Air, I Started To Get Up To Get Ready For The Days Festivities, While Going Through The Miniature Closet, I Noticed Their Was Mold In The Ceiling In My Closet. I Called The Front Desk To Report The Mold Growing In My Closet. The Young Lady Working That Evening Decided To Not Apologize For The Mold, But Instead Of Apologizing, She Was Making Excuses For Everything From My Air Not Working Properly To The Mold Growing In My Closet. Like I Had Mentioned Earlier, That Was The Absolute Worst Experience I Have Experienced At A Hilton Property. I Requested For A Manager To Call Me First Thing Sunday Morning To Discuss My Horrible Experience. I Also Have Pictures Of The Mold That Was Growing In My Room As Well. I Will Be Filing A Complaint With The New Orleans Health Department.Desired Settlement: I Would Like To Be Refunded For My Entire Stay. The Issues Stated Above, It Really Concerns Me That, Their Is Mold Growing In My Room. This Definitely Violates ALL Local And Federal Health Codes. Not Once Did A Manager Address The Mold Issue, Which To Me Is A "911 Situation"

Tell us why here...We agree that the guest stay was less than satisfactory. During the guest stay we adjusted off one nights room and tax, adjusted off three nights of valet parking, and gave complimentary breakfast for three days. Total compensation given before the guest left was valued at $296. I will have my finance department credit back $138 to the guest. This will meet the compensation requested from the costumer.
