I was sold a car with a lien on it preventing me from driving the car I am paying for After I brought it to the dealerships attention that my 30 day tags were well over due on Aug 5 since I bought the car on July 2 they insisted on me leaving the lot with the tags and to have the police call the dealership if I got pulled.I returned and told them the [redacted] said that was not going to work I got a rental car that has stickers and paper work blocking my view that I have been in for 3 weeks now all because they did not check or want to make me aware that my car had a lien from the previous owner. I have now made payments on a car I don't have access to and am afraid they will not be honest with me and I will be stuck with a car lien that isn't my own and a title I can not obtain.Desired SettlementI would appreciate if they just buy the car back from my bank so I can take my business elsewhere and not be stressed with the lack honesty or integrity of what ever solution they try to trick me intoBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], GSMContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]TG [redacted] did purchase a 2011 Certified Pre Owned [redacted] from Doug Henry Buick GMC on July 2, 2014. This vehicle was traded in on 07/01/2014. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the dealership was delayed in receiving the title from the previous lienholder. This did cause delay in processing Mrs. [redacted] DMV paperwork. The dealership did the following to resolve the issue for the Customer. We provided Mrs. [redacted] a vehicle of the same/greater value to drive under the dealerships insurance until we received the title and completed the DMV paperwork. When this was completed, we fully detailed the customers Malibu and provided a full tank of gas. This problem has been completely resolved and Mrs. [redacted] is completely satisfied.

I was promised that when I came to pick up my vehicle my gas would be reimbursed back into my vehicle. And of course it was not. I got my vehicle not even 3 weeks ago from Doug Henry. I have a [redacted] that [redacted] sold to me, he was my salesman. He was told by my dad that a tire needed to be replaced on the vehicle. I was told to come back that next weekend to get the tire put on. I drove back to Goldsboro to Doug Henry that weekend like I was told around 11 a.m. When I get there the service guys in the back didn't even know anything about me getting a tire put on. Even one guy made a comment about how they just throw people back there and not tell them anything. Being that [redacted] didn't inform them I was told it would take hours and for to come back because they would have to squeeze me in. I had to find a ride to be picked up, let's not forget I stay in Raleigh so luckily my dad was around. I got the call to come back at around 4 p.m. to pick up my car. In my mind I'm done with everything. I get a message on [redacted] from [redacted] on 11/14/2014 to take my car BACK to Goldsboro that very next day so he could get my car inspected. Being that I had already made plans and he asked so short of notice I told him I couldn't until that next following weekend. What I don't understand is that if he knew my car wasn't inspected why didn't he have that done when I went to get the tire put on my car. I stay in Raleigh I'm not down the street from them. I take my car back to Doug Henry of Goldsboro on 11/22/2014 around 11 a.m. to get my car inspected while I'm there I'm telling the service guys about the problems with my car losing power and not going into reverse sometimes. I was told they will have it checked out. I find a ride to get picked up. I get a call an hr or so later that they would have to send my car off to the [redacted] dealership because they couldn't figure out what's wrong but it couldn't be sent until Monday. I asked about a rental being that I work and I live in Raleigh, I was told the salesman would handle that. [redacted] texts me and tells me that he's ready for me to come get car. I get taken back to Doug Henry only to have to wait of course because he wasn't ready he had to find a car for me to take. When he finally finds a car I get in and sees there is no gas whatsoever and I'd be lucky if I made it to a gas station. I told him I just filled my tank up in my car not knowing that my car would have to be sent to another dealership now I have to put gas in this car as well. [redacted] said well we usually have cars in the back that has gas in them but we are all out of cars back believe it or not so I had to get you something off of the lot. I replied by ok that's not my fault someone should put gas in here. [redacted] then stated just put $10 in the car. I responded by I have to drive back to Raleigh are you serious. [redacted] said I promise I will have them put back into your tank, whatever they drive out I will have them put back in. I told him ok that's fine. As I'm driving back to Raleigh I notice the car was filthy and it already had a bad smell to it. There was dead bugs, spider webs and dirt everywhere. Me being a pregnant woman my stomach can't hold such a smell for so long I pulled over to vomit. I went got an air fresher tree. As the days go by I'm getting more upset because of the smell and how it's making me vomit. I texted [redacted] and asked him did he not see what was wrong with the situation and was I really going to get my gas reimbursed. He never replied to my gas question he kept saying he apologized for me feeling like I wasn't getting the proper help. I called on Friday 11/28/2014 to see if my car would be back on the following day because that's when I had to take the rental back and [redacted] didn't contact me like he promised. I was told yes to come get my car that following day. I asked about the gas reimbursement, they had no idea what I was talking about. I then told [redacted] I was going to file a complaint, he said ok. I get there my car didn't even have a half of tank of gas!Desired SettlementI would like a gas card sent to my address [redacted]. I don't care if it's $20 I want my gas reimbursed like [redacted] promised. He didn't care anything about my bad experiences at Doug Henry but wants me to refer people there. I will never send anyone that way after dealing with him and him acting like he didn't even care what he promised me. It would be different if he would not had promised but he did so of course that's what I'm expecting. Doug Henry is actually the only dealership I know of that don't even put gas in the car you purchase from them they'll sell you a car on empty. I only want my gas card and to pay for my car and never have to deal with them again. At the time of the sale, Doug Henry Buick GMC agreed to replace one of the tires for the customer as part of the purchase. The tire was ordered the next business day and we accommodated the vehicle owner with a loaner vehicle while the tire was replaced. Our Service team worked with the customer to service the vehicle at HER convenience when she was in Goldsboro NC as she is here often visiting family. When the tire was replaced, we had to bring the vehicle to our local [redacted] store to reset the tire pressure monitor sensor. The [redacted] store is less than 4 miles from our location. This is proprietary information per the manufacturer to reset tire pressure monitors. The courtesy vehicle that we let her use was a retail ready front line inventory [redacted] that had been fully detailed. We did provide gas for her to use the vehicle here locally in Goldsboro. Consumer Response That's a lie. I did not receive a loaner vehicle when my tire was replaced and I have the texts from [redacted] to prove that. My dad picked me up and took me back to my car when the tire was put on. I got a loaner car when my car started losing power and it got sent to Jacksonville to get my car fixed from what I was told at service department. I had 283 miles to empty on my car when it was dropped off when I got it back it was 162 miles so please tell me how was it 4 miles away. And no gas was provided when I got the loaner car from Doug Henry MY DAD gave me $20 in front of [redacted] to put gas in the car because I was fussing about it. I have those texts to prove that as well so don't try to play me. And I don't go to Goldsboro often unless it's a holiday and I wasn't planning on going all those weekends in a row so don't try to use that as an excuse. I have ALL texts and [redacted] messages to prove all my statements give me the word and I post them ALL. And then he states that I was the Co signer but when we asked him he said my mom was co signing for me so indeed he lied to me and my mom again and I have those texts to prove that as well. [redacted] shouldn't text or [redacted] business if he is going to TRY to lie about it. I didn't even get gas when the vehicle was purchased they NEVER provided gas I have all proof. Since Doug Henry wants to lie and I got all proof now it's about to hit the news. I got all my proof were is their proof? They have none. Either they going to send my gas card or I'll let my step dad go on and take it to the news. Doug Henry of Goldsboro is nothing but lies and a scam to look good when I got all the proof and now they are trying lie. Good one! Make sure I have no proof before you lie. Do you think I would go this far when I had none? I'm not the typical person I keep EVERYTHING for back up.
