repaired fuel injectors, truck worse than when I took it to there service department.within the last two weeks of September, I carried my 2004 Chevrolet truck to Doug Henry Chevrolet to repair a knocking in the motor. they give me and estimate of $1100, when they took the intake of and got to the injectors, the said there was another injector bad on the other side of the motor. then they informed me it would be $2800 to fix the other injector, I was not happy but agreed to pay the cost, but only if he would stand behind is work. He assured me that would solve all the problems with the injectors. I got the truck back, drove it a 100 miles and the fuel was spilling into the oil because of a bad injector, when I carried the truck back to Doug Henry, they didn't call me for two week, when I called them, they said they replaced all the injectors of one side, that it was the other side and it would be $2200 more to fix the injectors, my truck is still not fixed im not paying any more than the $2800 I AGREED the first time, and my truck is still not fixed, I feel I have been ripped off and I would like for them to do the right thing and stand behind there work and fix my truck!!!!!!Desired SettlementI would like for Doug Henry Chevrolet, to fix my truck, as they charged me $2800 to fix the injectors and its still not fixed, I just want them to do the right thing and stand behind there work, I have been ripped of!Business Response Mr. [redacted] brought his vehicle in on 8/20/13 for engine knock. Found DTC P0308 indicating a skip. Quoted one injector (the one setting the code). Upon further examination after installation we had another injector on the SAME bank and recommended replacing all injectors on that bank. We discounted labor to help customer out. Mileage at the time was 305558 miles. Customer brought vehicle back on 10/1/13 with 306330 miles (not 100 miles later) with diesel fuel leak. Injectors and fuel rail gaskets on the OTHER bank of the engine was the issue. Again, we discounted the cost of repair since the customer had just had it in, out of goodwill. Customer declined. Injectors list price are $350 each not including labor (x 4 injectors per bank). As for the two weeks of not contacting Mr. [redacted], we left messages both the first time and second time on his voice mail in which both times took nearly 2 weeks for him to return our call. First repair order was written on 8/20 and closed on 9/5. Second repair order was written on 10/1 and closed on 10/15 (note the second repair order there was no repair work done, we were just waiting for his returned call). On the second repair order in which he said we did not call, we called him the first time at 1:40pm on 10/2. Two other attempts were later made as well with no answer other than voice mail.It should be noted when the vehicle left after the first repair the vehicle was running fine, no codes setting a check engine light, and no fuel leak. The vehicle was brought back 780 miles later, with an engine that has 306k+ miles.

Vehicle purchased on Feb 21, 2015 put in the shop on March 2,2015.Was told vehicle had been serviced and inspected prior to purchase and it had not.About a week and a half prior to my purchase on Feb 21st, I contacted the dealer about a [redacted]. Since I live 3 hours away from the dealership I attempted to have everything ready prior to my arrival since I had to catch a train to get there. I submitted my credit application and never heard back. Called multiple times and was told my FICO score was 0 as I was on my way to the dealership. Knowing this was a lie I told [redacted](sales manager) to recheck. He did and saw that I did in fact have a credit score and was approved. Upon arrival I noticed the car was not on the lot but sitting towards the back against a fence. I asked why that was and one associate said "I may not have gone through its inspection yet". I test drove the car and I noticed an "airy" sound while the heat was on. I asked about it and the salesman,[redacted], assured me the vehicle had been serviced/inspected and had no issues what so ever.He even went as far to say "We cannot sell you a car without inspecting it first". I took his word for it and purchased the vehicle after beening hassled to purchase the extended warrenty for an additional $1778, by the loan officer that I extressed multiple times I did not want.I drove back home that night and everything seemed fine. Over the next few days I noticed a "whinning" noise coming from the rear passanger tire and smoke coming from under the hood. I contacted[redacted] and he again assured me the car had been serviced and if I felt uncomfortable to bring it back. Seeing as I live 3+ hours away, I said I cant make it that far and he advised me to go to my local [redacted] Dealer.I went to [redacted] on March 2, 2015 and they told me it would be $125 for a diagnostic of the vehicle. Seeing as I have only had the car about 2 weeks I didnt feel that I should have to pay for that. I contacted ** and he assured me this extended warrenty/current warrenty would cover it.The local dealer did the diagnostics and told me the main head gasket was gone, the front tires were out of line and pointing inward damaging the tires, and the caliber in the rear passenger side tire needed replacing. All things that would have been found had the vehicle had actually been inspected before I purchased it.Doug Henry Cherolet gave me so many excuses and tried to push it off on the exteneded insurance coverage I was hassled into purchasing. Of course they declined. ** even went as far to tell me "the issues they found would not a part of our inspection process". I was so upset and asked him, well what is covered? To that he had no response. ** then asked me again to try to drive it back to them! Knowing how unsafe that was and under the advice of the local dealer I told him no.I do not feel that they are concerned about the situation and I do believe they either knew the car had issues when they sold it to me and tried to push it off on me anyway in hopes what this didnt happen for a few more months or they were negligent and sold me a car that had not been inspected and cleared for resale.Desired SettlementI would be satisfied with 1 of 2 options seeing as I have only had the car for less than 2 weeks and havent made my first car payment:Option 1:-Return the car and get my $1,000 deposit back.Option 2:-Refund me the extended warrenty that I was pressured into buying. Turns out it pays for nothing.AND-Agree to pay for any major repairs needed including tires due to the poor alignment for the next year.I was contacted today March 3rd that all issues will be resolved today.

As a first time buyer I felt like I have been taken advantage off by ** And [redacted]I first contacted dough henry through CarGarus for starters car was not the Color as posted on website, which should've of been the red flag After numerous phone calls to ** and [redacted] which kept on giving me the run around finally [redacted] called and made arrangements to get me to the dealership well once at the dealership I was unable to test drive the vehicle or look over the vehicle prior to purchase , in fact I had given my down payment of $3000 prior to signing my loan documents I was not happy with monthly payments and asked for my money back as I was done and was no longer willing to go through the deal because of all the frustration that I had been through however [redacted] got the payments lowered and I agreed to take possession of the vehicle so I could get home to my kids , at that time I was given the keys and I notice the check engine light was on and informed [redacted] , since it was the weekend I agreed to take the car home and have someone pick it up for repairs ,as soon as I arrived home I looked over the car and realize that there was no spare tire and that the entire trunk/liner was missing I immediately called [redacted] and her said it would be taken care of once car was picked up for repairs however til date it has not been taken care of ** was also notified on 4/25/16 I called and spoke to ** regarding the trunk liner and my plates ,he told me that it wasordered and it should be there by the end of the week well on 5/2/16 I called ** again to find out the status of my plates since the temp expires today , again I got nowhere this dealership has caused me nothing but headaches and the way they treat customers is very unprofessional and took advantage of me as a first time car buyer .Desired SettlementFinish the job
