This vehicle [redacted] was brought in to Doug Marshall Motor city October of to be inspected for paint peeling on the roof of the vehicleThe customer had a third party repair facility install a brand new windshield in the vehicleThat repair facility used black duct tape to hold the windshield in placeWhen the customer removed the tape it peeled off a large portion of paint from the roofPictures were takenI forwarded the pictures to the regional [redacted] warranty representative on November 2nd The vehicles warranty had expired September 22nd Once the GM rep seen the issue he then denied the warranty claimUnfortunately with the vehicle more than two years past warranty there is nothing that can be doneThe repairs will be at the owners expense [redacted] Service Manager

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by the above referenced individualWe are very sorry Ms*** found fault with our services.We provide delivery services to internet furniture/commodity sales venues, such as Nonstop, Wayfair, etcas part of our customer baseMs*** purchased a dresser
from one of these entities and San Diego Van & Storage Company provided the delivery services.Our customer requires we provide the purchaser with a four hour delivery window on the delivery date, and a phone call twenty to thirty minutes prior to our arrivalMs***'s delivery was scheduled for the window from 12:00PM to 4:00PMShe wanted delivery after four o'clock and a phone call one hour before our arrivalShe was advised we would make every effort to honor her request, but that it might not be possible to accommodate her completely.We perform over one thousand deliveries per monthThe trucks are loaded with up to stops with items placed onboard in order of deliveryThis is the first complaint received about our delivery Services.In Ms***'s case, phone calls were made to advise of our pending arrivalDuring one of the calls the cell phone cut out, but our delivery personnel did not hang up on Ms***Our written records indicate S*** signed for the delivery to her residence at 4:30PM, after 4:00PM as she originally requested.We have contacted our contract customer from which Ms*** purchased her dresserThey have agreed to refund to Ms*** the amount she paid for deliveryWe believe this to be a most generous offer on their part.Again, we are sorry that, despite our best efforts, our services did not meet Ms***'s expectationsThank you for bringing this matter to our attention.Sincerely,*** ***Vice President

Yes I personally Bill H[redacted] service manager at Doug Marshall Motor City examined the vehicle belonging to [redacted] a 2013 [redacted] in may of 2016. The sunroof was shattered and the vehicle has 40,000 km on it. [redacted] has no outstanding recalls on VIN#[redacted] that...

involve sunroof issues. [redacted] district warranty manager was involved as well [redacted] and the decision was made that the sunroof was not warrantable. [redacted] does not cover glass issues after 10,000 km for any vehicles. [redacted] client care out of [redacted] was involved as well. I personally gave them all the information I had on the vehicle and Distract warranty manager for [redacted] also was contacted by client care and all three parties agreed that the sunroof was not warrantable due to age and mileage. This in in no way a reflection of Doug Marshall motor city conducting business in an unjust manor. This is a [redacted] policy decision of a non warrantable condition with [redacted]'s 2013 [redacted].

I forwarded the pictures to the regional [redacted] warranty representative on November 2nd 2017. The vehicles warranty had expired September 22nd 2015. Once the GM rep seen the issue he then denied the warranty claim. Unfortunately with the vehicle more than two years past warranty there is nothing that can be done. The repairs will be at the owners expense.
