small furnace manufacturer headquartered in North Judson, INWe manufacture residential gas and oil fueled furnaces and market them under the Thermo Pride brand to independent installing heating contractorsThermo Products LLC does not install nor service its products in the fieldThe independent contractors then markets,install and service our product to homeowner We receive communications from home owners, on occasion, regarding questions with their heating productsWe checked our call records and do not show where we were contacted by Ms***When communicated with, we typically direct homeowners to contact their installing contractor or any qualified heating contractor of their choice for serviceWe will then work with the heating contractor to assist them in coming to a resolution or parts if necessary Our records indicate that the furnace ,Model OME-72DS# DN220351,was sold to *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** on or around 1/ 13/The record also indicates the furnace was registered to *** ***, ** *** *** *** *** ** * *** I called Mike at *** to explain your letter and get some background Mike from *** was contacted to provide service to Ms*** in early May and went out to service this furnace*** found a defective burner motor and pump and replaced them *** warranted the parts but charged Ms*** a reduced labor billThis is where we believe the Revdex.com contact was initiated by Ms***. Since then, Mike from *** had written off the labor charge and Thermo Products LLC will be warranti ngthe parts to ***Mike, from ***, also stated he was not contacted by Ms.***, as stated in the Revdex.com report, as he would have followed-up. As of this writing, we believe Ms***furnace corrected and operatingUnfortunately, any future service would require her to contact a heating contractor and most likely a labor charge would be involvedThe furnace warranty still remains in tack with parts covered through January of (yron parts) and limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchangerOur warranty does not cover labor.
