The guys at Douglas Automotive saved my business again today. I needed a emergency tire replacement and they quickly got me in. They realize how important it is to keep my trucks on the road.

In August, I went to Douglas Automotive to get a quote on some work and recieved a very high quote. I experienced pressured selling and poor customer service. I wrote a review on their website detailing my experience and gave them a poor rating. This quote of $1200 included unnecessary work and their customer service department was unwilling to work according to my needs as a customer. I recieved a second quote for this repair at $960.

Today, the company followed up on my review and took my poor review off their website completely as if the experience had not occurred. They said that they were fixing the problem.

Whether Douglas Automotive fixes its problem, it is one thing to leave the original review and respond, another to hide the bad. I understand the company's right to control their website; yet, this intentional action makes me wonder how many other complaints or poor reviews have been deleted. I do not know if deleting reviews or only posting positive experiences falls under false advertising and is illegal; yet, it is dishonest business practice.

I took time to inform others of my experience with Douglas Automotive, because this had been my second time in experiencing their customer service. The first time, I brushed off the experience as poor customer service and tried the company again.
