After my accident I took my Honda to Douglas Collision Center. Todd Douglas handled the entire procedure. It was done in the time promised and not only that it was absolutely perfect. I am so happy with the body work and attention to detail I just cannot express enough how pleased I am.

My car was not only perfect but the overall treatment of my vehicle was beyond expectations. My Honda CR-V looked even better than the day I drove it off the Honda lot.

Thank you Douglass Collision Center and Todd Douglas.

I highly recommend Douglas Collision Center to anyone who needs body work.

Over priced on work not needed.
Over priced on work not needed. I took my daughter's car in to get checked out because it was needing something done with the brakes. They called me and told me that it is going to need front calipers because of uneven wear, and with that new pads and new hoses. There was a leak supposedly in the back left cylinder which also needed to be replaced as well as the right side because they don't do just one side. They also said that the master cylinder was bad, of which they have no way of knowing until the back break leak was fixed. So all this was going to cost over $1500. We have been going to Douglas for years, have spent over $7000 there and lately they have been going way downhill. I picked up the key earlier today and when my husband went to go get the car, the lights were left on so the battery was dead, when he checked the battery the one terminal had been tampered with and the whole post was twisted off and broke loose. This was in perfect shape when we left it there. We will NEVER go there again and we may even press charges. My daughter is now out $140 for a new battery. Thank you very much Douglas Collision.

Desired Outcome

Apology with reimburse for the battery we had to purchase.

I am sorry the customer feels this way. We were never given an opportunity to address any concerns, they never asked to speak with management or even let us know that there was any issue even after showing the vehicles problems to the customer. I cannot apologize or pay for a new battery for this customer. If they would have came to speak with staff here, before trashing the business over multiple sites, we could have replaced the battery because they have been a good customer. Even after the first bad review, when we replied in under 24 hrs, they still did not reach back out to us to speak about it. The shop has video surveillance throughout the shop and offered to show them the video to show that we did not tamper with the battery, and even asked them to come back up to discuss this further. As far as the brakes, it came in with the issue of the brake pedal going all the way to the floor. Upon a diagnosis, the left rear cylinder was leaking, and the brake master cylinder failed. The front brakes were worn unevenly which is caused from a bad caliper. To repair this, both wheel cylinders in the back need to be replaced. The reason for the right rear cylinder replacement is because with a hydraulic system, pressure will redirect to the weakest part. The manufacturer recommends any brake work after 100,000 miles to replace calipers and cylinders, and the rubber hoses as they become weak and one sided replacement is not recommended. This particular vehicle had over 150,000. With the calipers up front wearing the brakes unevenly, it is recommended to replace the brake pads. The rotors were on there because they had wear and were not thick enough to be machined. As far as the master cylinder goes, the leak in the left wheel cylinder does not affect the hydraulic system to fail, causing a falling pedal. The leak in the wheel cylinder would leak with no pressure applied and be sealed when there was pressure because of the way a wheel cylinder is built. The master cylinder failed internally due to the seal wearing out, causing the mushy pedal that goes all the way to the floor. In saying that, if the customer would have come up here to discuss like I asked, I have a wheel cylinder from another vehicle to show the customer how it works. Again, we are not responsible for the battery and will offer no apology. We tried to help the customer by taking our service rate from $85.00 to $70.00 as a military discount, and even sent the estimate in an email to her so she could take it other places to see if she could get a better price. I am the one who actually suggested that I could email it to her so she could do it. This was a free diagnostic service we offer to customers. Again Douglas Collision offers no reimbursement and no apology. This could have been avoided if the customer would have communicated to the shop instead of trashing us on internet sites including***. We do not want to lose customers we love our customers and treat them like family, but at the same time will not deal with customers who want to spread lies through the internet and cause us to lose more business. Thank you.
