The crew showed up to do the pruning job and were directed by the homeowners along with our contract as to the work that was to be completed The husband decided to oversee the entire project giving directions as to what they wanted completed after the wife had gone inside The work was completed and the husband having been with the crew the whole time said he was satisfied As per our contract our crew should have at least been provided with a half down payment upon starting of the project which they did not receive A supervisor was present during the entire project but the project manager was notified later that the wife was not happy with a couple items He met with the homeowners and trey determined we would send another crew out to complete the work We did replace a shrub and six perennials that the wife said were removed incorrectly even though the husband had asked the crew to remove them Originally the homeowners said they had asked the crew not to prune the six shrubs in front but then after meeting the project manager said they only asked them to prune them a little off the grass The crew pruned them as they do all the shrubs we prune in a uniform shape once again the husband was present during this as well The issue with the shrubs is that at the time of pruning they hadn't leafed out and at the time that the project manager met the homeowners were completely dead looked perfectly fine and had some dead growth in them The project manager let the homeowners know the pruning was not the cause of the shrub problems but they were more than welcome to get a second opinion butt hat no payment had been made at all on the account which was a problem and we would not move forward discussing the shrubs until a payment was made We never said we were unwilling to talk about a solution on the shrubs but we weren't moving forward until we had something figured out on payment We are concerned after numerous trips of not getting paid at all as the homeowners would not provide the half down payment at the beginning of the project and show know signs of wanting to pay for anything we've done at all

I am rejecting this response because:*** *** ***'s response is fabricated and does not address my request for resolution It appears to me they simply want to act as a child laying blame as "he said she said" rather than acting responsibly seeking compromise This company has not even tried to reach out to me to discuss I have paid their invoice in full as they requested yet they have not followed through on their commitment to seek resolution once they received paymentCustomer satisfaction is obviously not one of their business goals.

here are the photos of the "dead" shrubs Unfortunately there is no way to replace the existing ones which are completely healthy with anything close to how nice and large the current shrubs are Not sure what the homeowner is expecting but there is nothing wrong with the condition of the current shrubs
