Review: I have been going to Dr.[redacted] for around 18 yrs.. I believe in 2010 I went in for issues with my [redacted]. He said that I needed mouth [redacted] again. I did not commit to the [redacted] at that time. A few days later his receptionist [redacted] called me and told me that Dr.[redacted] wanted to do the [redacted] as soon as possible. I told her that I could not afford it at this time and she continued to tell me that he wanted it done. She assured me that all I would have to pay was 11 to 12 hundred. I told her that that was all I could afford and that that was even a lot to pay because we were not doing well financially. But again reassured me that that would be all I would have to pay. I went ahead and had the [redacted] and about 2 weeks later I received a bill for over 4 thousand dollars. I called right away and [redacted] told me that I didn't have any insurance left. I told her there was know way I could pay this amount and was very upset that I was being charged this after I was assured many times that all I would have to pay was the 11 or 12 hundred. I went to him around a month later and he was very rude telling me that I owed a lot of money and that I needed to take care of it. I told him what [redacted] told me and he said that that [redacted] is at least 4 thousand dollars. Well if that's the case I would have still owed at least 2 thousand. I continued to complain to know avail. Over the past 2 yrs. I have continued to pay 50 to 100 dollars a month. I don't have the money for an attorney. I feel this is a matter that Dr. [redacted] should rectify due to the fact I was told a completely different cost. I was never given any paperwork on the [redacted] as to the amount. I trusted him and the staff completely because I had been going to him for so many yrs. He has made a lot of money through my insurance companies and myself. I think that there was a mistake by his receptionist and that I should not be the one who has to pay. Sometimes there are mistakes made by the staff and the customers shouldn't pay for that.Desired Settlement: I think that all I should have to pay is the amount I was told I would have to pay. This matter should be taken care of as soon as possible.

Ms. [redacted]’s letter posted on the RevDex.com site is false and defamatory. At the very least, Ms. [redacted] and the

Revdex.com owe me and my hardworking staff an abject apology,

posted in the same place.

In our defense, Ms. [redacted] was seen in our office

episodically starting in [redacted]. She has had numerous “no show” appointments and

remained non-compliant in treatment. Our

office has been very lenient in allowing her to make small payments on her account

and having a continuous, delinquent balance. In 2010, we saw Ms. [redacted] at

which time she already had an outstanding balance. The patient, who at that

time had maximized all dental benefits for the year, agreed with our financial

coordinator to continue to make payments on her account. Since that appointment

there have been many months of no payment and many months that she has paid

less than what was discussed. We have continued to work with this patient and

feel extremely offended about these accusations. Ms. [redacted] can’t walk out of a

store with unpaid goods. Likewise, she needs to pay her dental bill.

I have attempted to contact you on three separate occasions

to have my name removed from your website, my membership cancelled, and to

prorate and return my dues. I expressed my concern during our initial

conversation prior to signing up regarding the lack of honesty when it comes to

the information found on the internet. Ms.

[redacted]’s complaint exemplifies my concerns.
