[redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The move was never intended to be cancelledAs a matter of fact, I had everything prepared for pickup on the original pickup dateThe problem arouse once MrL [redacted] re-scheduled the pickup date twice on the week it was supposed to be deliveredOCO movers cancellation policy is not very clear in relation to re-schedules made on behalf of their companyAs stated in their policy: [redacted] ***I want to make it clear I did not cancel prior to the first scheduled pickup date.I decided to cancel when I could not reach him in an entire business day and he rescheduled the new pickup dates twiceI stand by my original statement:I believe the original contract, that had almost months of prior notice, was violated when the scheduled pick up date was changed twice and then rescheduled to one day before the original drop-off dateI also believe that a company who cannot return a customer’s call after one whole business day does not instill the confidence needed to safely pack and deliver ones household valuables ? ? ? when we arrived to mrs rodericks home, she had the contents that would fill HALF A TRACTOR TRAILER.....WE DID NOT TOUCH ANYTHING BEFORE WE EXPLAINED THIS TO HER....SHE CANCELLED THE MOVE UNDERSTANDABLY SO, SHE STILL CANT GET A MOVER FOR LESS THAN 8K AND THATS WHAT I TOLD HER AND THAT IS WHY SHE STILL IS HAS YET TO MOVE TO FL BECAUSE SHE THINKS SHE CAN SEND HALF A TRAILER WORTH OF FURNITURE FOR 2000$.? DEPOSITS ARE ALL REFUNDABLE UP TO HRS PRIOR TO MOVE? WE MAKE THAT CRYSTAL CLEAR....SHE WAS AWARE OF THIS...AS ATTACHED IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY WHICH I EMAILED HER SEVERAL TIMES

CANCELLATION POLICY- ONCE RESERVATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH OCO MOVERS, DEPOSITS ARE REFUNDABLE IF IN WRITING AND MORE THAN SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO FIRST SCHEDULED PICKUP DATE, THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE $PROCESSING FEEDEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IF CANCELLATION OR PICK UP DATE RESCHEDULE IS MADE LESS THAN SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST SCHEDULED PICK UP DATETO FINALIZE THE REQUEST YOU NEED TO CONTACT OUR CANCELLATION MANAGER [redacted] was contacted hours prior to his scheduled pickup date by myself Peter L [redacted] to confirm his pickup date where I was than told that he wasn't using our services anymore that he had went ahead and booked with another companyI explained to him our cancellation policy which is clearly stated in every contract and email that we send to a customer once we put them on scheduleTherefore I understand his frustration about not being able to receive a refund but he would have had to written us days prior to the scheduled pickup date to let us know that he was not going to use our services in order to be eligible for a refund which he did notWith that said we feel this complaint be closed and removed from our history as for we were not at fault for not being able to issue this customer a refund for his depositThank you for your time and considerationIf you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at the number below Regards, Peter L [redacted] OCO Movers LLCSales Manager ###-###-#### Ext***

we are still searching for his box, contacted customers delivered before and after him ......no luck unfortunatly----we are processing his claims with insurance that was included in the move as regulated by NY DOT and he will probably reimbursement in the next 10-business days Adam

determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because according to OCO Movers only the table top went missingCost was $- they assured us they would "make it right" by at least replacing the table In the boxes that also went MISSING were electronics and dvd's, my mothers China and assorted personal possessions and memorabilia as well as our 5ft step ladder.

we offered her 240$ for reimbursment.....she refused....she had insurance of cents per pound per article....we estimated the table at 400lbs (over estimate) = $

I may have had half a tractor trailer to move but it isn't, wasn't and shouldn't have been my responsibility to tell them everything that I had that I was moving, even though I didThey knew, in advance, exactly what I was moving As a business, it is their responsibility to come out to the clients home to see exactly what is going to be movedThat's what makes sense to me!! And I do have movers that are coming to my home tomorrow (***) morning to take me to Florida and they charge $4,As far as the cancellation goes, why would I cancel two days in advance knowing they were coming to move me, that again makes no senseI didn't know there was going to be an issue until the morning he came, so canceling wasn't even a thought They are a very poor Company and should not even be moving peopleThey make a lot of money alone doing what they did to me, they can afford to return my fundsI will continue to put complaints on their site because what they did was wrong!!

So basically I'm stating facts here, as it clearly states in our contract deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE if you do not cancel days prior to the scheduled dateYou failed to do so, instead it seems as you lied to me by telling me you found another company to do the move for you because now your clearly stating that you actually did the move yourselfI'm not going to go back and forth here with this issue, if you followed proper procedure in order to get your deposit back we would of had no problem to issue a refundI'm very sorry but we are unable to issue you a refundI deeply apologize for the inconvenience.?

UNFORTUNATELY THE INSURANCE WAS CENTS PER POUND WHICH IS WHAT THE CUSTOMER SIGNED AND LEGALLY THIS IS ALL WE ARE ALLOWED TO REIMBURSE
