Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the Dealership Douglass Nissan of Waco, Texas has had plenty to time to take my name off of ALL of their advertising materials and...

mailings. I filed this complaint against Douglass Nissan on 9-23-17. That is almost 2 months ago. Again, I do not want to receive ANY more of your Douglass Nissan Mailings or communication. I AM not interested in Douglass Nissan products. This can be handled quickly and efficiently; by, talking to your advertising department; getting a list of the names and addresses of your mailings and deleting my information. I feel that you are busy and do not want to handle this issue; as it is not important to you; but, urgently important to me. Remove my information; please today; 10-21-17 and send me written communication through this forum that I will not ever receive any more Douglass Nissan mailings or communication.

Tell us why here...Being the customer asked the specific question of approval for a loan with the daughter on it before any figures were presented our sales people are trained to get a credit application from the customer so we can see the credit and we can answer their question, and that is why the customer filled out a credit application and signed it.  Once the customer gave us permission with a signed credit application and at that point we were able to tell the customer by looking at their credit application and credit history that we didn’t foresee any issues with an approval.  At that point we then presented a quote to the customer that they rejected based on trade in value.

I am rejecting this response because:I never said we were treated badly. The problem was we were never informed that our credit was being checked. Yes, I unwisely signed the credit form only because [redacted] assured me our credit would not be checked unless we came to terms with the vehicle. They obvious ran my credit before we ever got an appraisal of our trade. They did act as if we were untruthful about our previous trade offer, even questioned if other dealer thought it was a diesel engine? I understand you may not be able to satisfy all customers, but we are not unreasonable customers. We left under good terms I thought? The problem was when we got home that evening and discovered they had pulled my credit without my consent. I will not make the mistake of signing the credit request until a deal is made. No more good faith bargaining. Thanks to this dealership!

Regards,
Again in good faith I unwisely signed the credit application with the understanding that our credit would not be checked until we came to an agreement on a deal. Fortunately we found a dealership to help us get a vehicle for my daughter and gave us a reasonable trade offer. Sorry but we will never be back to your dealership or recommend them to others.

I am responding to complaint ID#[redacted] via E-mail per our conversation 3-24-15 @ 3 pm. Mrs. [redacted] vehicle was in our shop 12/18/2014 to have the engine control module replaced due to an internal fault and to have an engine oil pan leak repaired.  Responding to her claim of a loose air...

bag - at no time did we work and or touch  in the area of the air bag or steering wheel, with the exception of road testing the vehicle after the repair was done. I have no record or memory of an air bag complaint by Mrs. [redacted]. Responding to her claim of the horn not functioning - The horn on this vehicle is mounted between the grille and the radiator of the vehicle. When Mrs. [redacted] came in to let us know about her horn not functioning, I did check the problem in good faith to see if it was a related issue. I discovered a damaged wire at the horn while looking throught the grille with a flashlight. I could see a wire that was broken in two. I cannot tell you how it happened. I can guess that possibly something passed throught the grille opening and hit the wire. To access the horn and its wire the grille and upper radiator cover would have to be removed. I quoted the customer $110.00 labor to repair the issue. I physically showed the customer the problem, and the locations that my technician worked in. I always give the benefit of the doubt to a customer, but it would be physically impossible for my technician to have damaged this wire due to its location. I declined to repair the wire at no charge as a result. Mrs. [redacted] became very argumentative and verbally abusive after I declined to repair at no charge. I did indeed hand her the keys and asked her to leave due to her being abusive towards me. I did encourage her to get a second opinion. It would be apparent to any technician that looked at the problem that it would be unrelated to our repair. The fact that her warranty is about to expire has not a single thing to do with my decision.
