Douglaston Manor

I attended a wedding at Douglaston Manor September **, 2015 and gave my vehicle to be valet parked. I was returned my vehicle on a rainy night to find the next morning there was damage to the back of my vehicle. I went to Douglaston Manor the next day when they informed that they subcontracted their valet services to APV Valet Parking and provided me with their phone number. I asked if my car had been involved in an accident the prior day as I had heard a valet driver hit the bride's uncle with a vehicle. I was not provided with any information as to my vehicle being a part of that incident. I then proceeded to call valet company and they were non-responsive. Back and forth occurred for two days when I then decided to contact the police precinct. I then found out my car had been involved in an incident where the valet parker for Douglaston Manor injured a person. I was extremely upset with this situation because a police report was taken onsite and I was never informed (the day of or subsequent days after). I then went to Douglaston Manor to request the insurance of this valet company, so that I could proceed with filing the information to my insurance company. They stated they could not provide me that information. Spoke to the valet company and have been back and forth now between Douglaston Manor and the Valet Company for two months now, having to take time off from work to deal with this. Although APV Valet Parking accepted accountability they have still not provided payment for repairs to my vehicle or their insurance information. Douglaston Manor stated they were told this matter would be resolved, it is now going into 2 months and it has not been resolved. Douglaston Manor has not been willing to provide APV's insurance information and APV has refused to provide their information. This leads me to believe that there is no valid insurance and Douglaston Manor had a service provider where they failed to do their due diligence in contracting this party for events in their hall. I went to a wedding at their establishment and never did I know by attending an event here and giving my keys to have it parked that I would now be a part of an accident where someone was injured, and where they would refuse to provide me with the insurance information of the party responsible.
