Review: My name is [redacted], I bought a house a year ago at [redacted]. There is an empty lot across the street from me, that I was told by the city of San Jose that it was not zoned for commercial use. About 4 months ago Doumit construction moved into the lot. They have been dumping construction waste and stirring up chocking dust at all hours of the day. I called the city and they are operating this job site without city or local approval, and without a permit. The city official [redacted] informed us that he has evicted them from another site in our neighborhood only to have them move across the street from me. How is it possible that a business with any conscious can disregard the public's health and safety? I am concerned for the health and safety of our community. What can be done about this hazardous operation? Once again they are operating without a permit.Desired Settlement: I would like the business to move to a proper location that does not cause health problems to the public. And with the proper legal permits to operate their business.
