The Customer was correct when he said that Stealth built his trailer wrong The customer couldn't wait for the trailer to be corrected so we told Stealth not to fix their error and to keep the trailer because it was a special order for Mr*** I know he called originally wanting
his money back but we told him to call back in a couple of days so we could find out what Stealth was going to do to rectify this I don't recall him calling back again If he did it wasn't brought to my attention. I will drop a check off in the mail tomorrow and apologize for the inconvenience. Sincerely, *** ***'s Sales & Service LLC

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I made NO false accusations. The trailer was ordered per Pfeiffer’s Sales & Service specifications—not mine.  I specifically told him the door in my 1973 Roadrunner is 10” high, which is not a low profile car.  Our 2007 Grand Prix and 2006 Ford Mustang is also 10” high.  Pfeiffer ordered the wrong axles which dropped the trailer 4” lower and raised the fenders inside the trailer 4” higher according to the manufacturer warranty manager at Stealth Trailer. I was not under the impression the egress door had removable interior wheel wells.  If Pfeiffer would have ordered the correct axles, the egress door would have worked instead of all the cheapest axles, wheels, and suspension that money can buy. I asked Stealth if they could put a removable fender well after I seen the trailer was ordered by Pfeiffer wrong. According to warranty manager at Stealth, the whole trailer was ordered wrong and no where on the invoice does it say it is going to be 15” high interior wheel well or black trim on the interior. Pfeiffer refunded cost of egress door because it doesn’t work—he needs to refund the cost of the trailer because it does not work.  No way he could keep a customer happy with a $12,000.00 car trailer that will not work as it is worthless to us because no car door can be opened inside the trailer.  Pfeiffer was just trying to pass trailer on to manufacturer so he did not have to deal with the issues he created.  The manufacturer said we have to deal with Pfeiffer because Pfeiffer ordered the car trailer. As for Pfeiffer staff, they know as much as the girls at a fast food drive through window about trailers. I was never irrate to Pfeiffer or Stealth—they just want me to accept a $12,000 mistake they made.

There are a lot of false accusations in this complaint.  The trailer was ordered per invoice.  I spoke with the customer numerous times during the building process.  The customer made several changes throughout the process.  The 7k jack was mounted at the factory in a way that...

the bolted on distribution brackets were inoperable.  We were working with Stealth to resolve the matter. The invoice stated that the white vinyl ceiling would have colored aluminum coves. The aluminum coves usually will match the color of the aluminum cabinets unless otherwise specified. The exterior lower aluminum trim had a dent in it from being loaded at the factory.  We were going to fix it on site. Everything else was ordered and built per invoice.  The customer was under the impression that the $325 Egress door included removable interior wheel wells.  Stealth doesn't have an option for that. I don't know where he saw that option. He had never asked if they were removable.  The Egress door is made to open from the top of the wheel wells.  We have ordered numerous trailers this way with zero complaints.  I refunded the cost of the escape door because the customer said he can't use it.  I was not admitting fault I was just trying to work with the customer and keep him happy.  He was hooked up and about to pull away when he saw a dent in the bottom trim.  We would have fixed it while he waited but we were out of trim.  He left the trailer and said he would pick it up when were were done. He ended up calling Stealth on his own to see if there was anything they could do to make the escape door work for him and his low profile car.  Stealth said if he gets the trailer back to the factory they would see what they could do to accommodate him. They stated that he would be responsible for the transportation costs to get it back to the factory because the trailer was built per invoice.  He called me and asked me if I would transport it back to the factory for him. The transportation cost to send the trailer back to the factory would normally be $375 but I agreed to do it for free.  I told him that because he worked out a deal with Stealth all further communications would be between him and Stealth. This customer was very irate to myself, my staff,  and to Stealth as we were trying to please him. We are a family owned business that prides ourself with exceptional customer service. We will bend over backwards for all of our customers.
