My experience with Dowd's has always been positive. They show up on time, do a clean job, and are honest about what does or does not need to be done.

Technician was prompt and courteous. He worked with me and respected my opinions and desires regarding what I wanted done and worked quickly through the various tasks. We have now used Dowd's several times and each time it has been a pleasurable experience except for the fact that we actually needed service. We have used some of the "national" services for our HVAC work previously and the best we can say for them is that "they weren't late". We're happy to have found Dowd's and given that they are local to the Bensalem area, we will continue to use them.

I've been dealing with Dowd's and Scott for several years. With scheduled maintenance my AC/Heater really run efficiently.

I have had our Trane 16i Heat Pump serviced by Dowd for years now. Scott has been exceptional over that time. Not just with the basic service but also with anticipating problems and fixing them before they become expensive repairs. Always on time, always neat and always courteous. My compliments to Scott and as always to Dowd for doing such a top notch professional job. I like doing business with people that I like.

We are very happy with Dowd Heating and Air Conditioning. The System is wonderful and the installers Bob, Terrence and Mike were very good workers and did a great job. We highly recommend Dowd to everyone. They will do a great job!

Both Joe & Scott were excellent to work with, giving sound expert advice as well as competent service. They went beyond my expectations in completing their work, as well as saving me money by directing me in ways to get some of the necessary repirs done myself. Love this company, I was able to have ac and small heat pump installed in my fifty plus home very pleased with everything they did. Very honest, and professional staff. I tell everyone how happy we are with the job they did. Never thought I could have central air but they did it and my house is very comfortable in summer and winter. Thank you for everything!!!!!! I originally called Dowd's Mechanical, Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. to service my central air conditioning unit in the summer. The mechanic arrived when they said he would. He serviced my air conditioner and, to my surprise, told me the price I was quoted also included a fall service of my heating system. A couple of weeks ago, the company called me to schedule my heater service. On Tuesday, the same mechanic returned to my house to service my heater, at no additional charge. My entire experience with this company was Excellent! I will definitely continue to use and recommend they services.

Hired Dowds to address a defrost issue with my unit. Specifically chose them as a Trane specialist. They were unable to figure it out, charged rates comparable to an attorney, and I ended up having to hire a different company to fix the matter. Technician was unable to understand Trane equipment even though he is supposed to be a specialized service provider. They were nice, this is not a personal attack, just a compentency issue.
