Down East Advocates

I was charged fraudulently charged $100 by this company on 5/23/2020. I have never heard of this company nor would I have any reason to seek their services. I see that several other people have reported the exact same scam to Revdex.com in customer reviews. Their phone number goes straight to voicemail which is full and I have had no luck finding a website or anything that legitimizes this company. They say they are a ‘’timeshare concellation’’ service. I’ve never even looked into a timeshare. The number of the co,owner, ***, listed on Revdex.com also goes to voicemail which I’ve left messages on with no response. I am struggling to make ends meet and need a refund ASAP.

I got a call from a person from Down East Advocates named ***. Said he could help me with cancelling my Timeshare at ***. So like a dummy I went ahead and signed up for $1500 making $150 payments on the 26th of every month. I filled out some paperwork ***s assistant sent me (***). Then I sent a collections letter to *** she got back to me right no problem. I was supposed to receive another packet nothing. So I get a call from *** stating I need to make payments and I tried to forward that information to ***'s cell number. ITS DISCONNECTED, then I email *** no response, I called the 888 number I cant leave a message! I called the number for the owners one *** is disconnected and then left two voicemails for *** no response. Do not use these people. They are a scam.

I did not order anything from this company. I did not authorise any transactions. $100 was taken from my account. I called 1888 number provided and got a full voicemail. I went to the web page and it no longer exists.

This company somehow got my credit card number and charges $100.00 on my card. I do not or have not ever dealt with this company!!! Can you FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! Because this happened I know have to see if they will hold my electric bill over until my bank and reimburse me the fund!! I called the number and all I get is for me to leave a message with my name and number. NO THANK YOU!! Get a life and leave honest hardworking people alone that have never had anything to do with you. Too bad for you I work in fraud so I know how to spot out thieves like you!!

I was also fraudulently charged $100 with no luck in contacting this company to see how and why they stole my money.

Charged $100 to bank account without being authorized to do so. Several attempts made to contact via available phone numbers with no success. Access to website was not found, unable to connect. Attempted to access website from different equipment and got a “page not found” message each time.

I was charged $100 from my checking account from Down East Advocates.I did not make this charge or buy anything.I am trying to contact them to have this charge removed but so far no luck.
