I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This seller clearly does not understand how photo enlargements work.  Cropped photos do change the ability to enlarge as they change the image and or resolution depending on how cropped it is.  Attached is a close up of one of my children's faces alongside another image of her blown up to the same size.  I also sent this to the seller who again denied that it is distorted. I should not have to pay for a new product, even at a discount (the same discount she offers all customers who buy a second item) when the original item is unusable.  I offered several times to send it back and have them reprint a different image onto the same boards, but they continued to ignore and now I want my money back and to not deal with them again.  We do not have a lot of extra income to be spending a lot on Christmas gifts, and to br screwed out of $70 means these family members either get no gift, or we take back something purchased for our children.

I am the owner of GrassRoots Custom Photo Boards and am responding to a complaint against our business, with  ID# [redacted]. This customer did send us a great quality photo, and we sent her a great quality photo board in return.The faces are not in any way distorted. She did say that she had...

other images to choose from, but they were different only in that they were cropped, which does not change the quality. At any rate, we would not have asked for a different one, as the one she sent was great. We make thousands of these and work with every level of quality photo, from murky phone shots, to professional studio quality. I also have record of all our correspondence with her. We did discontinue communication with her when we realized further contact only angered her. We offered three separate times to make another board for her at the deeply discounted rate of 50% off plus the shipping charge of $15. Every one of our boards ships for $15, regardless of the actual amount we pay at the Post Office. The $15 is for handling as well, and is agreed upon and paid for by the customer before we ever make their board. The up close photo is not "true to shape".  My daughter had no recognizable facial features.  If you pride yourself in quality work, you would do right by your business to fix this problem.  Since you chose not to, I want my money back and I will gladly go away and leave you and your business alone ans use my money for a high quality gift for my family for Christmas.

This customer received a quality product from us without flaws. We used the exact same process on her board that we use on the thousands of boards we do for our satisfied customers. As is obvious from the close-up photo she sent, there is NO distortion in the face. The face remains true in shape to the original photo. Every photo we use, we enlarge, as we did with hers. She had full liberty to view many examples of our work in our Etsy shop, so she would have a good idea of the product she was purchasing. The board is in no way "unusable", and I would be proud to display it on my wall if it were my family. We put hours of work into her board, and we were 100% pleased to ship it, knowing we had created the best board possible using the photo we were given. There was certainly no need to ask for her photo in any other form, size, shape, or condition, as the one she sent was completely suitable. We are a small family business that prides itself on quality, and find it unfortunate that she purchased a product she seems not to have wanted in the first place. Our product was without flaws.
