Review: For last several years (at least 4+) I have utilized Down to earth landscaping service to winterize my sprinkler system. They have always charged me $65 dollars + taxes. This year without any prior notification they charged me $75 + taxes. While I was scheduling the service they never told me of any price increase. When I called their customer service my call was handled very rudely by [redacted]". She told me that the price is high because they did not run price promotion this year which sounded surprising to me as this price promotion was never mentioned to me once in last 4 years. I am dissatisfied because I think this is a misrepresentation from the company to save themselves from this unexpected price increase which they failed to mention while selling/scheduling the service. As I have a post paid account with them, they should have mentioned the price increase or lack of promotion to me before service was offered.

I am also very displeased and hurt by the way their customer representative [redacted]" handled my call. Not only she was rude, she sounded unconcerned even disrespectful. Also I had left messages to them in past but they did not respond with any explanation of the price increase. [redacted]" never said sorry even once for failing to return my call or failing to mention the price. Had I known about the price increase beforehand, I would have never done business with them as I have many cheaper alternative available readily around the area. I cannot help but wonder if they probably anticipated this and hence did not disclose the price intentionally?t. My trust on a company who I considered a permanent partner is now shaken.Desired Settlement: I have issued them a check for $80.25 and I would like to get my $10.70 back. I would like to pay them what I have been paying them all these years.

Also a letter of apology to have treated a long time loyal customer they way they did. I am very hurt.

Review: I live in the adult community of The [redacted] My maintanence fees are used for the services of Down To Earth Landscaping. I have made several complaints to our Board of Trustees & Down To Earth without any satisfaction. Over a 6 year period they have continually damaged my personal property & have cost me at least $2000.00 for replacements & sturdier products in attempts protect my personal property. I have called Down To Earths Office ( & so has Our Office) on several occasions. They have both failed to reimburse me & NEVER return my calls. They have knocked over edging & broken brick edging, ripped up the grass, cut down flowers & shubs. Every year they would blow away my mulch so: I replaced it with pea pebbles which, they also blow away. They have chopped my bushes with the red ribbons still on them. (our communities way to indicate DO NO CUT). This only scratches the surface of the problems with this company. On July 12, their workers came to trim the bushes I had red ribbons on everything. I also had a yellow sign that said " No bed maintanence. I spoke directly to the 2 Employees of Down To Earth and told them directly not to touch the anything in the front or back of my unit & agreed not to touch anything. On July 15, I heard this same group of men cutting out back & found they cut my 8 year old Butterfly bush to the ground and my Magnolia bush in half. I Reminded them about Friday's conversation and they said "it was dying". Then I told them the bush had a red ribbon on it & he said it didn't but, that branch was on the ground in front of the workers. This bush was green & had flowers on it, I have pictures. He told me to call the office they would replace it but, they cannot replace it with an 8 yr old bush. I called the on office on 7/16 & the main man responsible for our complex is on vacation (in the height of their busy season) & was given no one else to speak with & again expect no resolutions or reimbursment.Desired Settlement: I want everything they have damaged to be repaced with EQUAL or better specimens and I want them to dig out the 8 years of roots from the old plant and plant the replacement. I want at least 2 matching bags of pea pebbles they have blown away from the front of my unit. I don't want in writing that they will NEVER touch anything in the front or back of my unit. The only service they will provide me is to cut the grass, edge and blown the leaves in the front and back of my unit.
