I entered into contract with Downright plumbing to install a new underground waterline to my house. The contract stated that they would install a 3/4" PEX Waterline and connect to water meter and connect to copper line in the house. They were to dig the dirt with a ditch witch and install PEX line in ditch and cover it back up and seed and straw disturbed area. They did install and connect new waterline to water meter and to the house. I paid men after they connected the new line, because they said other men at company were on their way to finish job, but men did not cover open ditch or seed and straw as stated in contract. I contacted one of the owners twice, the first time he said he would complete job, no one came. I contacted a second time, he said he would call back, he has not called back. This is breach of contract and no way to treat your customer. The job cost me 1,850 dollars. I feel like the company owes me a apology and a reasonable refund of work that I had to complete.
Desired Settlement: Refund I need to be paid for job that was left incomplete by the company, that I had to complete. If not, I want this known to public what kind of work they do so no one else has to be done this way.
Down Right Plumbing could not finish the job upon completion of repairs because of the temperatures outside. We had scheduled to come out and finish up the restoration, but customer decided to do it himself. We will reimburse Mr. $40 for the work that was not completed.

I called twice to complain, after three weeks they never called or came to complete work. And yes after three weeks I did complete the work. The ditch they dug was 275 feet long. I paid in full because the men promised that someone would finish that day. The job would have taken two men 2 hours to finish. The going rate for plumbers is $95 for one man and $150 for two. Straw is $8 and seed $5. So, my asking for $150, is a very reasonable request.
We will send the $150 check in the mail immediately. Also, please call the office number for any further issues and not the project manager.

If Downright Plumbing agrees to pay $150.00 for the un-completed work of the agreement, then I accept. All I ever wanted was to be treated fairly.
