Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:so picture number one shows the invoice I received from this place of business. When the car was dropped off I said it needed to be fixedi did not say the intake gaskets needed to be replaced that is what the "professionals" here said it was after being there for a week they claimed they did a smoke test and it was confirmed that it was for sure the problem, picture shows that after the intake gaskets were fixed when I went to pick it up after I was assured it was fixed and discovered it had the exact same issue proving to me it never needed a new intake gasket and I had wasted all that money that the manager at the time said it would be fixed at no additional cost, however next they claimed it was the ECU and they advised me to purchase one and I did at the local autozone and I brought it in to them to replace, after another weeks I got a call from them and I have voice mails that were sent to my attorney from them telling me the car was 100% fixed, when I got down there to pick the car up on initial stathe car stumbled and stalled worse than when it was dropped off and my battery light was on and to top it all off my drivers side mirror was broken, I figured being they had run it out of gas atleast once before it might need some, after barely making it to a gas station and filling the car it still did not run betteri made a call as soon as I got home and asked why I was told my car was fixed when it actually ran worse, and asked when they would be able to get a tow truck down to pick it up being the car barley ran and I didnt wanna cause damage to the enginethey advised me they would not and proceeded to say they would not do that, at this time I called neil to see if I can get it back down there how long it would take them to fix the car properly being this is the task they were supposed to do in the first place he told me they would not fix the car like they were supposed to and that if I brought the car back down I would be paying for all repairs even though I have already paid once for them to fix iti proceeded to mention that they assured me that when I dropped the car off that once they figured out what was wrong (ieintake gasket) that if that did not fix it I would not have to come out of pocket any more money and they would keep going till it was fixed properly, which is after calling a few local shops this is how an honest shop would handle a situation like thisand after mentioning that after charging the battery the battery light on the car was still on indicating that something in the charging system was not working (usually alternator) that they would not fix that even though it clearly happened while the car was in there possessionalso there were things on the car that were not put back together properly the ICM on the distributor was not fastened down and the spark plug boot on the cap for the ignition coil leaving the metal exposed to arcAt that point I couldn't believe these were the people who fixed my car it seemed I could have paid a random person of the street less and it would have atleast been done properAt this point I actually feel a full refund in the amount of $is in order due to the fact that nothing was done correctly at all even the most basic things a mechanic learns on day one and extremely poor customer serviceAnd I can use the money to pay a shop that can actually do the work properly
Sincerely,

The invoice that has been submitted has been altered as the document presented doesn't resemble the invoices that we complete for customers. The text messages show a date of 11/28/2016 and as we previously submitted the 4 invoices that we have for the customer shows that the last repair work that was done was in August of 2016. We have told the customer multiple times that he can bring the car in to have it checked because for him to have a present a conversation in November of 2016 without any work being completed or invoiced at that time we can not properly identify the issue. Upon his departure in January of 2017 the car left with no issues. He hasn't advised us if the car has been fixed or repaired nor has he submitted any estimates that show what is wrong with the car from any other repair shop. Without him being willing to bring the car in for us to review under the warranty for work completed in January we can't properly identify the issues he has concerns about.

Mr. [redacted] first brought his car to us on 5/18/16 and at that time we only addressed the brake issue he initially had concerns about. He then returned on 5/31/2016 for the concern mentioned within his complaint; which was only to complete a standard transmission service to replace the pan, oil and...

distributor which at that time he supplied all his own parts to address the service. Three months late on 8/2/2016 Mr. [redacted] came back in to have a standard oil change completed which at this time there were no issues or concerns brought to anyone's attention regarding the initial transmission service 5/31/2016. His last visit, which prompted Mr. [redacted] to complete his complaint doesn't relate to any of the previous (3) work orders for the work we have completed. Over the 8 month time span Mr. [redacted] had spent a total of $1200; but each service that was requested or completed did not relate to any of the previous work orders that we addressed. It has been a different issue each time on a car that is 27 years old. Cars break down after time but his initial complaint has nothing to do with his complaint statement. We do not warranty any work that we haven't addressed nor any parts that we did not purchase. He has shown us no substantial evidence of any of his statements. We have attached all documents that support what he has paid over a period of 8 months. He did not pay $1200 for the repair in question.  All Supporting Documents Have Been Attached
