Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business, and though I still dispute that they made legitimate attempts to contact me by my actual phone number, I feel I've exhausted my attempts to get PFC to provide a list of those incorrect numbers to the Revdex.com or [redacted] I am now dropping this complaintI would like the upper management at PFC to use this case to determine if better business practices can be put in place in the futureThank you for considering this situation and for your responses to my concernsRegards, [redacted]

It appears that Mr [redacted] has experienced frustration with medical billing in the past Professional Finance Company, Inc(“PFC”) understands that and does sympathize with Mr [redacted] in that regard PFC did forward Mr [redacted] ’s concerns to [redacted] However, [redacted] is unable to discuss any prior billing issues or services provided to Mr [redacted] with PFC due to privacy laws [redacted] did state that the amount placed with PFC, as shown on the previously provided itemized statement, was billed correctly and is owing PFC is unable to act as an intermediary between Mr [redacted] and [redacted] regarding other accounts and other billing disputes, as it is limited to the minimum information necessary to collect the sole account placed with PFC by law PFC has marked the account as disputed and is happy to work with Mr [redacted] to resolve his dispute regarding this particular account

Professional Finance Company, Inc(“PFC”) has again communicated with its client, [redacted] (“ [redacted] ”) and feels that it is imperative to relay the following: [redacted] bills insurance as a professional courtesy to its patients and that billing is incumbent upon the insured providing necessary and accurate insurance information at the point of service [redacted] has provided its own system notes, which show that Ms [redacted] failed to provide the necessary billing information in a timely fashion On the date of service, 4/17/2015, [redacted] ’s notes reflect that Ms [redacted] failed to stop at the discharge office to provide her demographic and insurance information to [redacted] As a result, [redacted] had neither Ms [redacted] ’s contact information, nor her insurance information [redacted] attempted to mail Ms [redacted] a notice, but received return mail on 5/8/ [redacted] then attempted to reach Ms [redacted] by telephone on 5/11/2015, but found that it had no valid contact information on file [redacted] assigned Ms [redacted] ’s account to PFC for collections on 8/4/On two separate occasions, Ms [redacted] was reached telephonically by PFC (on 9/10/and again on 9/17/15), but refused to cooperate in PFCs efforts to verify her identity and proceed with the callHad she cooperated on either of these two occasions, Ms [redacted] might have benefitted from the information she would have received and, at the very least, could have engaged her insurance carrier at that point Being unable to discuss the account with Ms [redacted] due to her refusal, PFC was forced to initiate legal action on [redacted] ’s behalf to collect the account Ms [redacted] decided to cooperate only upon the initiation of legal proceedings and it appears that any opportunity for Ms [redacted] to exert her rights under her insurance contract have expired Ms [redacted] did contact [redacted] directly on 5/6/and informed them that she had moved three times recently As a courtesy, [redacted] agreed to attempt to bill her insurance [redacted] was informed that insurance denied such billing as out of timely filing and that the account was Ms [redacted] ’s responsibility After a review of [redacted] ’s account notes and information, PFC disagrees with Ms [redacted] 's assertions that insurance denial is the result of any inaction of [redacted] -- [redacted] had no knowledge of Ms [redacted] 's coverage with [redacted] until May 6, Even at that point, [redacted] attempted to bill insurance as a courtesy It is [redacted] and PFC’s position that Ms [redacted] ’s failure to provide the insurance information or update her address to [redacted] resulted in denial of insurance coverage for out of timely filing As such, [redacted] has supported PFC’s initiation of legal action and denies that [redacted] or PFC is responsible for Ms [redacted] ’s bill PFC is happy to honor the stipulation that Ms [redacted] has entered into and urges Ms [redacted] r to continue to work with her insurance company to see if she is eligible for any reimbursement for payments made on the account

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This company NEVER contacted me by phone as they state they did, they claim that my payments were returned my bank says otherwise that no debits were drawn after July 2016!! And they had no problem going in and removing funds at their convience ina sneaky way of a court ordered garnishment that I was not aware of how can they contact me for the original garnishment but not this garnishment?? And I will repeat that they included extra funds that were NOT authorized.I already paid in payments for March, April, May, June & July for $ each payment that is $paid in on their original requested balance for $ which I would have only owed $they took $( they claim my bank received $of this $they took ) I am looking into this and none would have been removed if PFC kept their end of the agreement.This will be a he said she said situation, again I DO check my phone messages daily as my mother has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing facility in Broomfield! I can NOT afford NOT to check my messages daily as I never know if the nursing home will call me if my mother takes a fall, or has a health issue!They are not being truthful and they managed to have the legal system work on their behalf and for their own benefit and profit! I would have never made the effort to go to court 2X to work out the claim for payments if I intended to fault on a agreement with them.They had my cell number as well and my home number and my address which they sent notices just fine to to notify me of the collections in which I responded to!They wrote on their monthly statements to me that I obligated to pay them as I gave them permission for monthly payments on a " previous recorded conversation" however when I called on 10/25/and asked if I could record the conversation a female named Kelly said they do not do that everand she did not give me any permission to do so ( also not the truth if they recorded my conversation and it is written on the monthly statement I have in my hand.)This company did NOT honor their own agreement, it seems to me that PFC figured out a way to say the consumer somehow faulted on collection agreements, regardless of what they responded back to the Revdex.com they did NOT attempt to contact me, however just yesterday I received a letter postmarked 11/04/with the garnishment notice of funds and an additional BLANK notice " To Writ of Garnishment with notice" after they took out of my account..Why send me this now? Is it because I have put in a complaint with the Revdex.com and including the attorney Generals office? Seriously what was the point of this notice now if they went and removed the funds they claim they didn't have access to months ago and added funds that were over the original debt? And how was this possible if they did not have my account information?This company does NOT have good business practices and has figured out a way to benefit themselves and including benefiting themselves with even more then they are entitled to or actually due!! I think it is unjust how they handled this situation and unethical however like I mentioned it is a he said she said situation I would like an better explanation of how they took more then what was agreed upon ? Professional Finance Company, Inc(“PFC”) certainly does understand Mr [redacted] ’s frustration and appreciates his willingness to work with PFC to get this matter resolved As previously stated, PFC will delete credit reporting of the [redacted] account in question upon its payment Once paid, PFC will submit the deletion request to all three major credit bureaus However, the credit bureaus may take additional time to reflect this deletion, which is out of PFC’s control PFC looks forward to assisting Mr [redacted] in resolving this matter

Professional Finance Company, Inc(“PFC”) appreciates the continued opportunity to respond to Mr [redacted] ’s complaint PFC has provided [redacted] ’ position regarding Mr [redacted] ’s account and has provided the documentation supporting that position [redacted] believes that the account is owed and is unable to control when or why a health insurance provider may request a refund of previously remitted funds Mr [redacted] may want to consider discussing this issue and [redacted] ’ account with his insurer to determine if there is any relief they may be willing to provide PFC has marked Mr [redacted] ’s account as disputed, will cease communication on the account as is required when a consumer expresses their refusal to pay an account, and will proceed accordingly under [redacted] ’ direction

[redacted] Hello, I would like to share that your client- [redacted] has reported at least times to other credit collection companies sizable amounts that were deemed unbillable to me [redacted] investigated these improper claims and reported back that [redacted] should not be trying to collect these amounts We have been working on these collections for well over a year, and now this new collection has popped up At this stage, after speaking to an attorney and doing some research, we are able to collect damages due to improper collection practicesWith that said, we want to see a statement from [redacted] stating that they are aware of these improper billing/ collection attempts, and that the amount you are trying to collect is the final and last attempt at ANY collection from them We received proof verbally and via hard copy that prove [redacted] absolutely exercised improper/illegal debt collection practices The amount they are trying to collect at this point pales in comparison to the number of hours we spent trying to clear these collections from ALL credit reports, legal consult, frustration, and stress during these very difficult times Not only were we dealing with stage cancer, but my wife had a brain injury and horrible back injuries that she was having to deal with during this time as wellThey should be ashamed of themselves for putting us through all of this- had they done the correct thing from the beginning (not falsely trying to collect amounts $+)that were not owed) and inflated the collection amounts falsely, this all would have been rectified long agoWe proceeded to make payment arrangements to one of the many collection companies they hired to TRASH my credit, and when we questioned the billing on this account with that collection company, we received a FULL refund with an apology letter and it was quickly removed from my credit report Due to the extent of damage to my credit report- I can pay the amount they are asking, but I will also file a formal complaint and pursue damages possibly to defend my rightsPlease let me know how you wish to proceedSincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:First, The note that states on 9/15/that they sent me the balance in the mail is falseI yet have to receive anything in the mail from this company showing my accounts and paymentsSecond, in reference to the Three accounts and my history of payments - the first one was satisfied 7/2011, which is not part of this disputeThe accounts in question would be Account and In regards to my questioning of the amount I owe; MY beginning total due was $for the [redacted] account (in which they show $649.40) and $for the [redacted] (in which they show $264.27), which would show that I have paid MORE towards my accounts than what they are originally stating that I owedRoughly $Where has this been accounted? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I as well have audio copies of the communications between the supervisor at PCF and with myself, and I was lied to and denied the opportunity to speak with other staff members and hung up on Upon reviewing the tapes again, [redacted] was hung up on for being rude We agree to this statement However, I was treated unprofessionally, lied to and denied documentation As a "customer" of the company we are in fact intitiled to what is being required in writing or otherwise.The response also does not address MY bank account being frozen for fees not associated with me As well, [redacted] did NOT receive the materials requested in court outlining the said debt, as ordered Thus, we were informed until PCF complied we were not to comply [redacted] was hospitalized in a coma in a different county and hospital during the time of the alleged debt, which was proven in the insurance paperwork sent to the company in June As well, his identity had been stolen earlier in the that year (2008) Documents provided by his father and the insurance company who settled [redacted] medicals bills were sent to the company in June No response was given Because Mr [redacted] nor I had ever dealt with a collection agency before we began to make payments on the debt.There also are fees added for interest on the case in $ If accepting partial payment is not allowed because of further costs, then why is there an interest charge being applied? As well, PCF had both [redacted] and [redacted] current phone numbers and NEVER made an attempt to contact either of us on 12/1/ I would like to see proof of this, as we feel the company is fabricating this information The first attempt to make a partial payment was on 11/28/ We also have phone records to prove this fact We also have phone records to support calling and leaving four unreturned messages in attempts to gain further information and find what has happened to the paperwork submitted by the insurance company by [redacted] (father of [redacted] ) Who again, [redacted] was under his insurance at the time because he was a college student and covered.I again would like the fees associated with MY bank account be reimbursed in the total of $and the freezing of MY bank account released As well, because of the improper treatment of both Mr [redacted] and [redacted] any further fees (since attempts were made to make payment) be dropped We will pay the $to resolve this case, yet reserve the right to collect that amount and all other fees and expenses related when it is found that this in fact is not [redacted] 's debt (which again, is in the insurance records provided, and we can again provide) At this time, we are working to clear Mr [redacted] 's credit and thus want to resolve this matter not as a fact of admitting the debt but to erase it from his credit history Regards, [redacted]

Professional Finance Company, Inc(“PFC”) appreciates the opportunity to respond to the complaint of Ms [redacted] PFC was assigned an account from [redacted] (“***”) on 9/13/for collection from Ms [redacted] PFC mailed Ms [redacted] initial notice of the debt (attached) on 9/15/ The notice was mailed to Ms [redacted] ’s [redacted] address that has been confirmed as correct by Ms [redacted] PFC received no notice of returned mail for this letter Despite this notice, PFC received no return communication from Ms [redacted] PFC did begin credit reporting the account on 11/13/and thereafter made calls to Ms [redacted] ’s telephone number ending in 9900, including leaving voicemail messages Ms [redacted] returned PFC’s 3/8/call and, after placing a call to ***, paid the account PFC seeks to allow consumers an opportunity to pay the account prior to it impacting their credit As such, PFC takes Ms [redacted] at her word that she was previously unaware of the account and has already submitted a deletion of all credit reporting of the account Additionally, PFC does not charge fees on any collection accounts PFC is happy to address any further questions or concerns

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms [redacted] complaint Professional Finance Company, Inc(“PFC”) entered into a settlement agreement with Ms [redacted] to resolve several account owed to Renown Regional Medical Center This settlement agreement was reached and completed without issue Not included in the settlement agreement was an account owed to [redacted] This account had reached an age that was beyond the statute of limitations for legal action PFC does not actively collect these accounts, but they can remain on a consumer’s credit report for up to years, per Fair Credit Reporting Act guidelines PFC has reviewed the recordings where the settlement agreement was reached and has found that the settlement agreement never included the [redacted] account On August 7, 2015, PFC received a telephone call from Ms [redacted] , requesting that PFC delete credit reporting of the [redacted] account PFC agreed to the deletion and sent a fax to Ms [redacted] confirming the deletion PFC also sent Ms [redacted] a printout of her paid accounts as requested, but had sent this item by regular mail pursuant to PFC policy PFC has closed its file on the [redacted] account and deleted credit reporting as requested PFC believes that this resolves Ms [redacted] complaint, but is happy to answer any further questions she may have Again, PFC is thankful for the opportunity to resolve this matter

Professional Finance Company, Inc(“PFC”) appreciates the opportunity to address Mr [redacted] ’s complaint By way of background, PFC was assigned an account for collection from Mr [redacted] on behalf of [redacted] of [redacted] (“ [redacted] ”) on 7/16/ The account arises from services provided by [redacted] to Mr [redacted] on 3/27/ On 7/17/2015, PFC mailed Mr [redacted] initial notice of the account to the address in Denver provided by Mr [redacted] at the time services were rendered PFC received no notice of mail return on this letter PFC also attempted at least telephone calls to Mr [redacted] at the telephone number he provided to [redacted] PFC has never heard directly from Mr [redacted] , but did receive a credit reporting dispute submitted through the credit reporting agencies in which Mr [redacted] stated that he was “not aware of collections.” PFC performed an investigation and determined that it was reporting accurate information for the accountPFC has discussed Mr [redacted] ’s complaint with [redacted] and has learned that the account claimed to have been paid in full is a different account for a different date of service As can be seen by the attached Patient Ledger provided by [redacted] , the $charge was for a date of service on 6/20/and was indeed paid in full [redacted] has provided an itemized statement showing the charge for the 3/27/date of service As can be seen on that document, Mr [redacted] ’s insurance was billed, a contractual adjustment was applied, and the remaining balance was charged to Mr [redacted] ’s deductible As such, [redacted] has confirmed that the amount placed with PFC is accurate and owing PFC strives to provide all consumers with notice and opportunity to resolve their accounts prior to impacting their credit and believes it did so in this instance Nevertheless, as it appears there was confusion regarding this account on Mr [redacted] 's behalf, PFC will delete any credit reporting of the account upon payment in full We look forward to assisting Mr [redacted] resolve this dispute
