Ms. [redacted] purchased the 2008 Jeep Patriot from our dealership, Downtown Bedford Auto, and we went above and beyond making sure we repaired the right rear window, fixed the license plate light, performed an oil change and resolved the check engine light...
indicator.After these repairs were made, Ms. [redacted] complained of what she says was the hub bearing. At no time did I promise Ms. [redacted] that we would replace the hub bearing, we told Ms. [redacted] that it could possibly be the hub bearing, or a break component, and that we would look at the car and determine what needed to be done to resolve the issue. In the complaint, Ms. [redacted] states that the Jeep is unsafe to drive and this is untrue. The vehicle was safety checked and serviced by our mechanic. Secondly, Ms. [redacted] still owes a balance of two hundred dollars ($200.00) that we contacted her and she stated that she would be in to make the payment. At that time, I told Ms. [redacted] that when she made her payment, I would extend her the courtesy of replacing the hub bearing, even though it was not a safety issue and did not need to be replaced. Ms. [redacted] did not make the payment and has not as of the time of this letter. I have wanted and still do want to resolve this situation, and that is why I am willing to replace the hub bearing, once Ms. [redacted] makes the payment. I have been honest and straightforward in everything I promised and did for Ms. [redacted], however she has not made her payment. In conclusion, please have Ms. [redacted] bring her payment to the dealership along with the vehicle. We will have the hub bearing replaced and this situation can be resolved.
