The Red Mazda In [redacted] was flooded on the inside and was full of water that could not be flushed out from hurricane Harvey floodingThe motor was not working and the mechanic shop ask me to return this flooded car to downtown motors for a full refund because the diagnosis is my Mazda [redacted] sold to me was a flood carI have only been given five hundred dollars of my money backI attached a photo showing what this flood Mazda looks like
This is in response to the complaint ID 11300450concerning the car that was purchased by *** *** on 3/22/16. At the time of purchase Mr*** was informed, as are all of Downtown Motor customers, that all vehicles are sold "As Is". Furthermore, Mr*** signed three separate
legal documents which are approved by the state of Texas stating that he was aware of this policy and would be responsible for any and all future repairs.A second email with copies of these three documents will follow.Mr*** was also given every opportunity to have the vehicle inspected by himself or a mechanic of his choice before purchasing the vehicle as we have no mechanic here on the premises. We regret that he had an unfavorable experience, but feel we went above and beyond to inform him of his rights as a buyer and of ours as licensed used car dealership.Sincerely,*** *** Owner Downtown Motors

I am rejecting this response because:I was only offered the opportunity to test drive the vehicle, and I feel the dealership went above and beyond to get it off their lot and sold so it didn't break down under their ownership as I've heard has happened before.
