*** *** purchased a Mercedes GLVin#XXXXXX on April 19th it was sold with our in house 50/days or miles warrantyMr*** was made aware that we do not cover accessories, electrical, or any
body work
When Mr*** brought the vehicle in the 1st time, he came in asking for us to repair an automatic folding seat that did not fold all the way down, a rear fog light bulb was out, and a few miscellaneous requests regarding the rear metal trim on the bumper, and an interior storage compartment door that would not close properlyIt was made clear to Mr*** that none of those items are covered under warranty, but out of good faith we fixed the folding seat issue, replaced the left side fog light bulb (see invoice attached) and checked out the other two miscellaneous requestsThe Tail light was never brought up at this time and was in proper working condition
Mr *** brought in the vehicle again, the rear fog light bulb on passenger *** burned outWe replaced the fog light bulb on that side also and it did not seem to fix the issue, since the car was sold with a fully functional tail light and rear fog light, we could not warranty the replacementMr*** was once again reminded that we do not cover electrical and in an email we offered to help him get a replacement tail light at our cost
the 2nd time After a couple weeks Mr *** brought the vehicle in due to an intermediate check engine lightwhen he dropped of the vehicleWe hooked it up to an OBD scanner and noticed a code for an Oxygen sensorPer Mr*** warranty, Sensors are not coveredOut of good faith we ordered oxygen sensors BANKSENSOR BANKSENSOR 1(see invoice attached) None of this was charged to Mr***, not even 50% like stated in his buyers guide (see attached)Once again the rear tail light was never brought up to our attention
On the final time Mr *** brought in the vehicle, he claimed that the check engine light was on againWe were extremely busy with other repairs and we told him to leave the vehicle in order to check itThen next day we moved the vehicle and noticed there was NO check engine light presentWe hooked it up once again to the OBD scanner and found a PENDING code for catalyticWe informed Mr*** that the check engine light was not present, but that we saw a pending code for the catalytic and that indicated that it should be changed soonAlso an item not covered under his warrantyWe recommended that he take it to a muffler shop
We have gone far and beyond with Mr***'s requests and covered all the costs this farWe can not continue to address Mr*** indefinite grievances with a USED vehicleThe vehicle was never leaking oil here at the lot and we gave Mr*** his temporary permit for his plates until he picked up his new plates from us, which he already has

We gave the registration to *** a week ago, she came in person and picked it up

On February 22, 2015 Mrs. [redacted] purchased a 2014 Toyota Canny from downtown Motors Group. Yes, the customer did pay in full payment. We understand the customer frustration regarding the title of the 2014 Toyota Carnry we have explained several...

times to the customers that we are waiting for the vehicle to be paid off in order to receive title. This vehicle was purchased from Del Mar Auto Center. The fee of $80 is for document preparation not transferring fee for registration. The customer was charged an estimation fee of $211 for license fee and standard $8.25 for registration fee.
We do apologize to the customer regarding this matter and this is a matter that we do not have control over; it's a process that may be lengthy at times. As of today Downtown Motors Group has paid in full to Del Mar Auto Center for the vehicle we are still waiting to receive title from Del Mar Auto Center to complete the DMV transaction. We do apologize for the inconvenience and we are trying to do everything on our part to speed up the process of this matter we are not withholding title form customer we are following procedure and unfortunately this is a waiting process on our side too.
