Downtown Plaza Laundromat

Review: Laundromat has complaint box for customers regarding equipment failures and return of unused funds for lack of service. There is also a phone number listed (###-###-####) to call and register complaints/lack of service provided. On Sunday, April 26, 2015, there were 5 women in the Laundromat and all complained about lack of service, failure to receive refunds, and failure of business to respond to phone calls/paperwork. We went to the Sonora Police Department to complain about lack of service from this business. They said they would call the owner to indicate that there were unhappy customers and we were advised to call the Revdex.com. I personally have received no response from the business owner since the Police were contacted. I have lost $6.00 in funds for no service provided. Doing some research on Yelp, there were also comments since 2013 about the failure of this business to respond to complaints and refund money lost by customers. This business has been discussed with the Police Department and the Chief of Police who advised that we avoid this place of business (especially women) as there are a large number of complaints regarding drug and prostitution taking place in this business.Desired Settlement: I want my $6.00 refunded to me. I would like to see the owner take responsibility for providing customers with at least adequate and expected customer service, prompt resolution of problems/refunds, and safety of the business and its customers.
