In regards to complaint - [redacted] Mr [redacted] brought in 3 tires and wheels for us to mount on May 2 ,2018 These wheels were very difficult to mount tires on due to the fact that the rim is designed differently than most rims, (the drop center is positioned differently which...
makes it extremely difficult to get the tire over the drop center to the bead) However we did attempt to mount 1 of them, for 45 minutes. Mr [redacted] stayed in the work area the entire time, never leaving sight of this wheels and tires. After attempting to mount the one tire and wheel he was told the cost would be more and he would need to leave the tires and wheels, which he did. However he came back on Friday, even though we told him they wouldn’t be ready until Monday. When he got here we told him that we have not even had the oportuntiy to work on them and they were in the exact same spot as when he left on Wednesday. We did not charge him for ANY of the work we did as a courtesy. Mr [redacted] said he was taking them to [redacted] to have them mounted. The day after he picked them up, Saturday May 5th, he called to say that one of the wheels was damaged. On Friday he loaded the tires & wheels back into his vehicle. Isn’t it possible that he himself scratched the wheel OR that wherever he took them may have damaged them. They were out of our possession for an entire day. Mr [redacted] slandered us on Face Book even though we are totally unaware of any damage to his wheel. We are sure he inspected each wheel BEFORE he left our shop. Thank you, [redacted]
