This complaint is false, not true and not accurate for the following reasons1) We have no record on file that a cancellation was processed in the past2) [redacted] is a woman not a man3) All cancellations must be processed in person at the club4) This membership type was under contract and needed medical or relocation documentation to cancel.5) This membership type had a $cancellation fee6) Even though this member did not follow any or the rules or guidelines, I made an exception and still processed the refund and cancelled the membership within hours of first contact7) Not only that, I processed everything the member asked for on a Saturday evening while I was trying to spend time with my family8) So if you send an email to a business that you attend on a Saturday evening, and that manager does exactly what you have requested even though you didn't follow any of the policies, rules or guidelinesI'm pretty sure that's the definition of excellent, above and beyond customer serviceI wasn't even at the business that dayI completed the request remotelyHow many businesses do you know where the manager would process something like that on a Saturday when they are spending time with their family and the request did not follow any guidelines? Zero.9) What the Facebook Messenger screen shot doesn't show is by the time [redacted] responded a filed a complaint, his issue had already been resolved.10) Either way it was resolved in a matter of hours on a Saturday evening.11) I have no idea why this member filed this complaint

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ** *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I have received a refund, but the shady business practices by this gym need to be addressed as well as the removal of my information from their files as well as the files of any billing company they may use The person identified as *** the Operations Manager confirmed that my account had been closed and said as much in communication to me as I have attached For *** to say they had no record of my closing on file is an outright lie.

We have spoken with the individual and informed them that no cancellation was receivedWe asked the individual if they received their confirmation email for a cancellation, they said they had notWe asked them if they knew who they supposedly turned in their notice of cancellation with, or when
they mailed it outThey did not recallWe asked them if they had a copy of any cancellation request, they did notWe informed them that without any sort of proof of cancellation we could not issue any refundWe did inform them that as a courtesy we would waive the cancellation fee and cancel them immediatelyThat is what we did and it seems they were not satisfiedWe asked them why it took them so long to re-notify us of their wish to cancel, because they supposedly canceled months agoThey had no answer for that eitherI have spoken to all relevant staff and gone through all cancellation requests from the time frame the member is alleging, I could find no proof to support his claimUnfortunatly there is nothing else I can do on my end

I have cancelled both membershipsThey will not owe the $cancellation fee because they joined before that went to effect September The only thing they will owe is their June invoice since we do require a day notice to cancel I called and spoke to *** *** and asked
him to come to the gym so that we can discus the statement regarding harassing himself, his friends, and his familyAnd that he said this is a common practice for our businessWe have a lot of pride in our business and handle matters very professionallyHis statement was very inaccurate and I would've liked to discuss that with himI have resolved this matter by cancelling his membership without any option for renewalThank you.*** ***
