Review: My fridge was not keeping food cold, so I called Doyles to fix it. He came on Jan 25, 2013 with a screw driver and told me my relay was not working, so he replaced it. He charged me 135.00 for relay, it still did not solve it. I called him another 4 days later he shows up and touch a switch and still dont work. I had to hire another person to do the job. It was not the relay, it was the heater. I had to pay him 155.00 and Doyles did not leave the old part he charged me 65.00 for gas he said. I have been calling him for 2 months abd he said he will give me my money back but never did.Desired Settlement: My 200.00 back he did not fix anything he said he charged the relay but he never left the old one. Relay runs about 50.00 he charged me 135.00

Review: Do not call Doyle's Appliance!!! Had a refrigerator that was leaking water that was 14 months old. He came out and told me it was clogged and needed a new fan motor. Charged me $269.49 and left. A few days later it was leaking again. I called and he said he would be out the next day, he never showed. Called again and was told he would be out later that day, again he never showed. Called a third time, it went to voice mail, called about 3 more times but he never answered. Had to call another repairman who fixed the problem for me.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a refund because he never fixed the problem and in fact I doubt I ever needed a new fan motor due to the age of the refrigerator.

Review: I have a gas fireplace that I was told by the PG&E company had a leak and they suggested that I call a Appliance Company to come out and look at the fireplace and see if it could be fixed. They suggested the leak was coming from the valve. I called Doyle's Appliance Company in Manteca Lic 06727 bear lic C61831 A man came out from Doyles appliance company on 12/11/2013 verified it was the valve that was bad and told me that he would order the part and install it for a estimated price of $275.00 and asked for a 100.00 deposit which I gave him cash and he provided me with a receipt. He asked if I had the manual for the fireplace and I told him yes, handed it to him in which he told me that they were hard to find and if he could make a copy of it and return it back to me and I said yes. Several days went by then weeks I called they said they ordered the part then they said they could not find the part and they would refund my money. In the meantime I had another company come out and it was not the valve at all! it was just a knob that was turned that needed to be turned back to off!! Another week went buy no refund than more time went by noting. They kept telling us that they mailed my refund and the manual still nothing. Then they said they would drop it off still nothing this as been going on since 12/13/13. It is now 1/3/14 and still nothing and now they want to take 75.00 out for a service charge for the wrong information and for a part I never needed. I don't mind paying a service charge but not 75.00. I strongly believe that they owe me my full 100.00 back. They have a lot of bad reviews online that I should of reviewed first but did not look. Next time I will! I believe this is a dishonest company. All I wanted was my deposit and my manual back and no more lies. I live 1 mile away from the company there is no reason why it would take this long to get this back to me. I should be charged a service fee for the wrong information! Desired Settlement: All I am asking for is my 100.00 deposit back along with my manual. I don't think I owe a service fee when nothing was done and there was nothing wrong with my fireplace. Had I took there word I would of been out $275.00!! If I do have to pay a service fee I believe 25.00 is fair for the gas it took to drive 1 mile to my house. I would be more than happy to provide the phone number of the company that came out to back up my story that the part was good. Thank you.
