Review: 30yr comp roof on home installed 10/04 by Doyle's $11,640. Vast sections were NOT stapled/nailed - the roof is sliding off the house.
Doyle's CA license #XXXXXX installed roof (30yr comp) on 10/22/2004 to our home costing $11,640. We noticed that shingles above the front door were pealing back. Last week I went on the roof and saw major shifting of shingles throughout the entire roof. Many of the shingles were not stapled or nailed throughout the entire roof. Since then, several professional roofers told me the entire roof, in several sections, are about to slide off the house. I have many photos taken from different parts of the roof. Mr. [redacted] he told me he would NOT fix or replace the roof and then told me "gee, that's too bad but there's nothing I'm gonna do about it."Desired Settlement: If the roof can be fixed - then it should be fixed. Several professional roofing companies' have told me the entire roof needs to be replaced. I have numerous current photos which clearly show poor workmanship and roof damage. Its October the rains will be coming and I want to avoid any damage to the interior because of leaking.

The roof was installed nine and a half years ago. The roof was permitted by the city of Folsom and was inspected during the installation and at the time of completion of the installation and was signed off by the city inspector. All shingles were fastened to the roof sheathing with roofing staples.. My company give a one year warranty on installation and workmanship, no more. When talking to Mr [redacted] I explained to him the same thing as above. Mr [redacted] has on multiple times has worked done the roof since the time of installation by others as per our conversation. This in its self would void any warranty. I don't use the wood Gee or ever have.

Doyle's construction installed a thirty year roof. After nine years a majority of the shingles are sliding and cascading onto one another. Several roofers have said the entire roof needs to be replaced. When I asked Mr Doyle to fix or replace the roof he said no. We are proceeding with legal action.
