Review: I purchased a car radio from Fry's Electronics on-line - on 9/**/13 - The product was shipped and installed in my vehicle - The radio was missing all the screws and cable(s) needed. The installer was able to use his own screws and such to complete the installation. The radio is not what was advertised and is of very very poor quality. I immediately contact DP Audio/Video to request assistance. It took 3 days before I was called back - The representative was very short with me saying that he would have to talk with his technicians and would be back in touch with in 24 hours. I did receive an email saying that they would assist . I never received a call back. this was last week .. I then called again and still no call back - I have left 4 messages without a call back ... The radio does not receive AM well at all.. The blue tooth does not connect with the phone. I would return the unit to Fry's Electronics if I could except that I can not remove the unit from my car without incurring further cost .. Additionally , the installer had to cut into the dashboard in order to install the unit having cut wires for this particular unit. I relied on the merchant and manufacture to provide a working product - The warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose has been non-exsitant here - The lack of response from the business has left me with no other alternative then to reach out to the NY Revdex.com for assistance. I am out over $129 +tax + $11.95 shipping + $100 installation Total loss of over $250 ..Desired Settlement: I want the cost of this product refunded and the installation reimbursed -

I have had to track down the representatives for this company through 3 different states - and they still have not gotten back to me with a resolution ... They have provided no assistance what so ever - I have been able to find an office in Los Angeles that claims that they just handle DP Video phone calls... They told me DP Video is "out of business" - The companis is [redacted] - I have filed a complaint with the LA Revdex.com - the EMATIC company has avoided calling me back or assisting in resolving this issue - I have no way of removing the radio from my vehicle nor have they provided any assistance to correct the problems I have been experiencing ... There has been no resolution to my phone calls - and Fry's Electronics has been extremely unhelpful in finding any resolution - thus far - these companies (DP VIDEO, EMATIC and FRY'S) are a fraud and I am not surprised that they have not contact the NY Revdex.com - It is borderline criminal that they are out of business even though they continue to sell their product as though it is new... Shame on FRY'S electronics for carrying "old" stock from a company that is out of business as though it is brand new ... FRY'S has an obligation to the consumer to notify the buyer prior to purchase the defunked status of the manufacture - especially when that manufacture has been out of business for over a year - DP Video is a FRAUD and the product that FRY'S sold me back on 9/**/13 does not meet the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability ..
