The customer brought the car in and Dan Perkins Subaru fixed it at no expense to the customer

We have contacted this customer and resolved the issue. The problem involved a car she had purchased a while ago, but had already traded it in

We do not have a record of any complaint other than the battery issue that was resolved immediately
As far as airbags deploying in an accident that depends
on where the car was hit and the severity of the impact
The price offered was as agreed

I am rejecting this response because: He *** never said he would fix the head gaskets that is not true
I told him I wanted a replacement this car is not safe to drive Since the day I bought this car we have had broblems : came to pick it up and the dash board did not work, the car was filthy dirty it started to over heat months after also burnt oilI brought it to my mechanic to see what the broblem was told by *** *** this car was unsafe and should have never been sold I made the mistake by trusting *** and his company he knew how I felt about getting a safe car I told him it is for my daughter !! We have had nothing but broblems with it Just weeks ago we had to stay on the phone with my daughter because she was so afraid the car was rattling and shaking every time she went to stop ( she was heading to school at the time) we had to go up to pick her up I also would like you to know when my husband and I went to bring the car back to Dan Perkins *** tried to say we took the car to our mechanic before we bought it we did not he then confirmed we didn't.. I do not want the car fixed for the reason less than a year a blown head gasket and more I payed cash of $5,plus $on a trade in only 71,765miles should never have happenedI again state he never offered to fix the car his offer was to get us another car and give us around $2,for the car that is how we left it *** said he need time to find a car My husband felt it was not safe to drive the car home *** agreed to leave it there..

General manager spoke to customer. We have spoken to the customer and have scheduled her to have a remote starter installed.

I am rejecting this response because:I feel we are very close to reaching a mutually satisfactory resolution. In the interest of not losing my complaint as presumably resolved, as per the 7 day response time limit, I just want to confirm that this complaint has not yet been resolved as I am still awaiting an offer of compensation which we have previously agreed to negotiate, however as soon as I hear back from [redacted] whom I'm currently having trouble getting in touch with, I think we will be able to get this resolved. Sincerely, [redacted]

Dan Perkins Subaru has called and emailed  Mr [redacted] on numerous occasions requesting an estimate from his technician in California for the repairs necessary on his vehicle.We have yet to receive this.I spoke to Mr [redacted] again today who assured me that he would fax the information...

to me in about two to three days so that we can resolve this issue.Dan Perkins Subaru is committed to our customers satisfaction and we are sure that we can reach a satisfactory resolution.[redacted]

We have tried to call you but have had no success.
We also have no record of any issues involving the cruise control or usb port or stains on the armrests since you purchased the vehicle on March 5th 2014.
[redacted] is a subsiduary of [redacted], not [redacted] and we have no record in the paperwork stating that we informed you that this vehicle is a [redacted].
As far as the sales price, all our records show that the vehicle was sold for the agreed to price of $11500.00.
Without knowledge of the dynamics of your accident there is no way to determine why the airbags did not deploy.

I am rejecting this response because: Here is my contact number ###-###-####. [redacted] informed me verbally because sales are done verbally. [redacted] spoke to me instead of [redacted] to close the deal via many phone calls until he said that the $10500. was fine. I believe that the conversations over the phone would be most important to get proof that the verbal agreement was $10500. Upon signing thats what was told to me.

This vehicle was sold in December of 2013. It does not have a warranty.Our used car manager offered to replace the head gasket at our cost.Thanks[redacted]

The problem associated with...

the vehicle was not an easy one to figure out. It is  possible that my son had fixed it just before bringing it in to be checked, but for safety reasons we needed to do all we could. Dan Perkins kept the truck for a week and provided me with a loaner vehicle. Both the mechanic and service manager both had the truck and tried to recreate the problem and thoroughly tried to find the issue. I found [redacted] to be very nice and pleasant to deal with. The general manager [redacted] also sat with me and he wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied and he was also very understanding. I would say not to judge Dan Perkins based on one terrible manager ([redacted] as he is not a true reflection of the entire Dan Perkins business.
